Housing questions.

I have 2 questions.

1. Can you have chests in houses with stuff in them?
2. Can you have signs in houses?

If any of these is yes, how do I go about purchasing them?

The answer is yes to both questions! You can buy chests from the shop next to the mine depot and signs from one the NPCS in the mine depot
