As you may see, I just tried posting the same post 4 times, but none of them worked. I don't want to clog the forum. How can I delete those posts?

Also, since this post finally worked, I'm going to put my questions here:

Yesterday, at the end of the Q&A, Flip said that if we had any questions after the Q&A, we could put them on the forums, so I thought this would be the best subforum for it. If I made the wrong call, feel free to correct me, or move this post.

So I few questions about level requirements. Do professions items have level requirements to use them? Does gear a minimum level needed to wear it? Do quests have a minimum level to be completed? Do location discoveries have minimum levels? Do brooms have level requirements?

Hello, hopefully you were able to find answers to some of your questions from the Q&A video or my notes. If not, I can answer them here as well!
. Do professions items have level requirements to use them?
Profession items will now be found around the map, in level-specific regions. Your professions level will be the same as your player level, so you will only be able to access certain profession ingredients by going to their regions. Because going to certain regions requires a certain level, professions item do have level requirements.

Does gear a minimum level needed to wear it?
Gear materials are dropped by mobs, which are sorted by level. So the higher level you are -> the higher level region you can get to -> the higher level mobs you fight -> the higher level gear you can obtain. So there isn't really a level requirement for all gear, it's more like the higher level you are the better gear you're able to obtain.

Do quests have a minimum level to be completed?
World quests will be grouped by the level-specific region they are in. For example, Hogsworth is going to be a lower level region, and the quests found in Hogsworth will be low level as well. So yes, quests will have a minimum level, but it will correspond to the region that they are in.

Do location discoveries have minimum levels?
Yes. Regions are based on player level and you can only get to certain regions if you are a high enough level.

Do brooms have level requirements?
The current plan is for there to be a broom introductory quest at around level 30 for players to complete. After they complete the broom introductory quest, players will be able to find broom recipes and broom materials around the world. These broom recipes will be tailored to the player's level, and the higher level you are, the better broom you are able to craft. Current brooms will be kept but balanced and will become tradeable so you can sell them later.

Overall, the general idea that Revelius is introducing is that players are able to travel to regions based on their player level; and the world quests, mobs, gear, profession items, broom materials, and everything else corresponds to that region and the levels it includes. I hope this makes sense. If you or anyone else has any other Revelius update questions, feel free to reach out to me. Sorry I didn't see this earlier!

Thank you for your detailed response. However, I think you misunderstood some of my questions. For example, when I asked about professions items having level requirements, I meant could a level 80 player sell an op professions item to a level 1, and they could use it? That's what I meant in all of the questions I asked. Here are all of my questions but phrased more clearly:

Do professions items have a minimum level required to use them (i.e. can level 1 players use level 80 items if they get their hands on them)?

Can players buy gear and use it, no matter what level they are compared to the level you are meant to acquire the gear?

Will you be able to fly over a bunch of mobs and get to a quest/location unlock that is above your level, or will you have to be a certain level to do so?

Finally, will any player be able to buy any broom and just use it instantly?

Ah, I see what you meant by your questions. I assume that profession items will have level requirements to be able to use them and/or the items will not be able to be traded or sold as they could be abused by lower level players. This was not explicitly stated in the Q&A but I'm sure there will be some kind of preventative measure in place to stop lower level players from obtaining OP profession items.

Can players buy gear and use it, no matter what level they are compared to the level you are meant to acquire the gear?
For gear, gear is not an actual item and it is only seen in a GUI for each individual player. Since these items aren't physical, I don't think there would be any way for lower level players to buy or obtain higher level gear.

Will you be able to fly over a bunch of mobs and get to a quest/location unlock that is above your level, or will you have to be a certain level to do so?
You are only able to enter regions if you match the level requirement, and you won't be able to fly over it with a broom if you do meet the level requirement for the region.

Finally, will any player be able to buy any broom and just use it instantly?
Although the way brooms will work hasn't really been announced, I assume brooms will have a level requirement so that even though brooms will be tradeable, you won't be able to sell an OP level 80 broom to a level 1.

I hope this helps a little more! Sorry I misinterpreted your earlier questions :,)) <3

I thought that Flip meant that gear wasn't actually Minecraft armor and therefore wouldn't be visible, not that it wouldn't be an item. I might have misinterpreted it though.

Oh oops I misunderstood from the Q&A. I just asked around and gear will actually be physical items, but although they will be tradeable they will have level requirements so lower levels can't get OP gear. Also super powerful gear will be bound :D
