1. Scarlett NPC
- Really good addition to the game. Removes the ease of getting lost. However it also removes part of the exploration awe that is part of getting to know Hogsworth. Maybe make the NPC guide the player through particles instead of teleportation?

2. EXP Grinding
- Easily gained through AC at earlier levels.
- Absolutely agonising to grind 800 thousand worth of EXP points from Wamprus Cats, Emberskins and the like at the start of 6th year and even in 4-5th year. Maybe add more quests to fill the gaps so we don’t have a quest at day level x and then no quest at level x+1 and the next quest at level x+2 which means that we have to grind not just one but two levels which kills me inside because that’s another several hours worth of flying around mob spawns, huddling them up around a tree that I proceed to camp and spam AOE spells. Classes are good fun and I’d love more 24 hour events to relieve the absolute boredom.

please don’t take this as offensive I’m just hella frustrated xD

Also perhaps consider removing spells that directly affect the environment such as Magmify which I have not once used since getting it because I’m literally unable to cast it anywhere. Not in the wild, not in duelling class, etc.

AC still is the primary way to get xp at higher levels for better or worse, I think that quests are mostly supposed to be for the gold rewards / immersion or at least thats how they were sold to me?

But AC only gives like 100k EXP when you need 8x that amount and because classes aren’t as frequent as they were during 24-hour classes that becomes so much harder.

I have spoke to staff (gd people) about this in the past, and basically their explanation was they wanted to implement something like this, but it would cause issues. So unless they resolved those issues, I don’t see this coming in the future :(

I already discussed some things with Alexis on Discord about castle navigation such as separate server for castle layout and dynmap, more signs and particles.

I'm fine with the way Scarlett is right now tbh. reminds me of the old Sr. Prefect which I thought was a great idea.

the AC thing though, I agree with you completely on. I'm level 80 but I've heard about people's struggles, and it doesn't seem like the level grind is balanced enough. most games, their quests are designed to level you up without you having to grind mobs.

Precisely. I’m spending at least 3 hours just sitting on a tree spamming spells for one stinking level. ACs got to be balanced, otherwise quests become less useful and more a necessity that you have to work towards instead of wanting to do. Also maybe buff quest EXP? It’s the same problem as AC. Too underpowered, roughly 100k exp when you need like 8x that amount to level up and sometimes there isn’t even a quest on that level. Maybe in higher years start filling in those gaps?

Hello and once again thank you for your suggestion! Unfortunately, this has been declined, but we do have alternative ideas coming in the future. We will not be adding particles leading to the places Scarlett gives directions for because it would ultimately lead to future server issues. However, we are planning to release something very soon that will hopefully help with the directional confusion. There are also plans in the future for adding other mid-level quests to help reduce the EXP grind, but we are not positive when this will happen.

We hope to see more suggestions from you in the future!
