Hello, everybody! The Engineer Team is glad to share our new balancing patch for Magic! We have tried our best to reach a better combat balancing, creating a more versatile way of dueling. We have tested these changes for a while, and we are happy to to share them with you!

SPELL CHANGES:

Baulectrium:
- Decreased damage by 10%

Baulectrius:
- Decreased cast time by 15%

Blizzix:
- Reduced cooldown by a few seconds
- The cooldown will be equal when either casting on yourself, or another player.

Bombardus:
- Decreased knockback by 50%

Cometes:
- Reduced cooldown by a few seconds
- Increased cast time by 10%
- Decrease mana cost from 44 to 40.

Conflamorus:
- Decreased damage by 10%

Expellimo:
- Decreased duration by 10%

Flamonstrum:
- Fixed bug where players could cast blizzix to remove flamonstrum's slowness while casting

Flipellius:
- Decreased damage by 10%
- Slightly increased cooldown

Glacios:
- Fixed bug where talent "Caster's Aftershock" was not being applied

Igniotempus:
- Increased cast time by 20%
- Decreased damage by 13%
- Decreased radius from 5 to 4.5 blocks

Immobilio:
- Fixed bug where talent "Caster's Aftershock" could not affect everyone on the Area of Effect

Incarcerum:
- Incarcerum now have a small Area of Effect when hitting a block (similar to Recanto Enchantum)
- Set the radius to 2 blocks
- Removed the cooldown applied to other spells

Levosus:
- Cooldown applied to Protellomo reduced from 1.35 seconds to 0.75 seconds

Lumen Aestus:
- Decreased mana cost from 15 to 10.

Meteorum:
- Decreased cooldown by 4 seconds
- Increased damage by10%
- Decreased mana cost from 52 to 50

Obscurio:
- Increased damage by 19%

Protellomo:
- Reduced cooldown applied to Vulnamedius by 1 second

Protellum:
- Reduced cooldown applied to Vulnamedius by 1 second

Religo Mortus:
- Increased spell velocity by 6.25%
- Increased cooldown by 5 seconds

Saniteris:
- Fixed bug where the projectile would not go through shields

Tripudio:
- Removed cooldown applied to all counter spells
- Decreased cooldown applied to Protello by 2.5 seconds

Venenox:
- Decreased cast time by 15%

Ventimus:
- Decreased cooldown slightly
- Decreased mana cost from 46 to 40

Volo:
- Now it applies 3 seconds of cooldown to Feruvio

TALENT CHANGES:

Caster's Aftershock:
- Removed the jump lock over time.

nerfing flipelius this hard is just because jack is the lead of this not a single other player but me actually uses it and just because i am good with it and jack sees that in a 1v1 perspective shouldnt mean both the damage and cooldown should be decreased. i think this is overdoing it even if its on the strong side either nerf the damage or the cd but both is unnesaccary and only because jacks ego gets dropped by being comboed in a flipelius shouldnt mean it should be double nerfed. and maybe its dps is higher than a casca headshot which he just explained in a vc but by that logic vermilio is also a million times too OP with the 1 sec cd.

like the baul ct reduction lowkey.
ignio nerf should also be nerfed in height lowkey just saying.
ventimus had no business being buffed just because it was strong back in 2021 doesnt mean it should be that strogn rn.
the volo feruvio is also nonsense with a 3 sec cd it did indeed need a cd but 3 sec is toomuch its the only way aggresive playstyle players can possibly healin a balanced way since our epifios dont heal for 1.8k which is a full headshot stupeficus.
obscurio is still badwith 1.4k headshot damage with dmg talent and the effect its supposed to do not really working at all at blindign the opponent.
religo is still bad the 5 sec cd is waytoomuch for only a buff imn 6 % velocity as a slow moving projectile with a too small velocity in with this cd is unusable.

incarcerum will be funny to try a bit with.

and you can obviously see that this patch is healer based and has its priority for the healer playing playerbase

spells i didnt mention are just rando spells i wont be using prob but also all cc aoe spells
if joelowo would be around this would be hell

flip was broken and everyone knows it, i just didnt use it cause its boring
although i would be interested into an investigation into healing as a whole, particularly self epifios
