Store's Enchanting New Releases
Feature
Written by Silquer
Edited by littledead

Dear readers, there is an enchanted feel to the air; over the past two months, the Store team has come out with two new magical Store Releases, both full of bewitching items that have captured my heart. After reading this article, I hope they enthrall your heart too! The year kicked off right with the Mythology Store Releases in January and the Spellbound Store Releases in February, corresponding with the Valentine’s Event in the Enchanted Valley. Let’s dive into the details of these new items!

To begin with, there are the Mythology Store Releases. This release followed the theme of Greek mythology, introducing items belonging to gods and demigods alike; in fact, the new wands come from the gods themselves! The Thyrsus Staff is a replica of the staff belonging to Dionysus. If you are the partying type and want to imitate Dionysus himself, this is the staff for you. On the other hand is the Trident of Poseidon, the god of the sea (among other things), and a more solemn and imposing wand choice.

There were also several new hats added, including the Keres Crown, a headdress belonging to the fierce death spirits in Greek mythology. Wearing this elegant piece will surely add a fierceness to your outfit. If you prefer something gentler, Selene’s Headpiece might interest you. Selene, the goddess of the moon, wears a diadem of the crescent moon; you, too, can wear her crown with this headpiece!

The last item I will discuss is Ares’ Chariot Mount, a graceful yet war-like way to travel. This chariot mimics the mount belonging to Ares, the god of war. Fly around like a warlord in this chariot! Although these are the only items I have mentioned, there is much more to this release. Check out the store for the remaining items; you may find a pet or a hat that channels your inner mythology!

Secondly and the most recently released is the Spellbound Store Releases. These items correspond directly with the 2024 Valentine’s Event, so if you want a way to dress up for the event, these are the items for you! First up are the brand-new emotes. The Wellness Emotes are centered on self-care, with emotes such as “Drink Water” and “Meditate”. Even fairytale heroes need a good rest from time to time!

Along with new emotes came new fantastical pets. The Pet Frog Prince is a faithful companion with a tiny noble heart and a precious crown; I do not recommend giving this particular frog a kiss, though! If you are looking for a more graceful companion the Pet Swan is an option for you! Swans are stylish creatures and the perfect partner on your many fairytale adventures this February.

Lastly are the brand new warp key appearances! New warp key cosmetics are some of my favorite releases, and I always look forward to new ones. This time around, we were gifted the lovely Enchanted Mirror Warp Key, a beautiful golden mirror that will have you asking, “Mirror, mirror, on the wall…”. Similarly captivating is the Timekeeper’s Warp Key, a gorgeously decorated clock.

There are heaps of items I have not mentioned, including new Death Effects, a brand new-wand, and even another pet. I implore you to take a look at the store for yourself to see what else was released.

How do you like the new Store Releases? I, for one, am always amazed at the quality of items released each month. As always, an enormous thanks to the Store team for working so hard on every item for us players; be sure to give them lots of love in Discord! I hope you all have a month filled with lots of “happily ever after”!

All About the 2024 Valentine's Event
Editorial
Written by yakko__

The 2024 Valentine’s Day event is here at last! Potterworld has returned to the Enchanted Valley first seen in 2021. The world is overflowing with fanciful things, and I am going to introduce you to some important parts, like the questline, the beautiful build itself, and, my favorite, the rewards!

First, let’s talk about the build. The town in the Enchanted Valley is adorable, all red and pink stone, bright banners, and white houses along cobbled streets. The town garden and surrounding forest help the buildings pop and come to life. You can visit Merlin’s Tower, Rapunzel’s Tower (Towers are in fashion this year), Sleeping Beauty’s House, the massive Valentine’s Castle, and much more! Everything is full of so much character and love.

Speaking of love, there is plenty of that in the quests this year. The introductory quest brings you to the fairytale world of the Enchanted Valley and the Fairy Godmother, who believes the Fairytale Council has a traitor. You must help identify the traitor and prove yourself to the Fairy Godmother to unlock more.

Now, how do you do that? By completing repeatable side quests and activities, you earn Storybook Pages which can be used in the castle library to unlock the nine other story chapters. Also in the library is the option to trade event coins or Inspiration Sparks, earned by completing minigames, for Storybook Pages.

There are lots of ways to earn pages! The repeatable side quests range from helping the Priestess with her offering in “Mischief Managed” and creating artwork for Master Phineas in “Painting Tales”, to fishing for Pinocchio in “Go Fish”, saving Aurora in “Dream Weaver”, and catching wayward Cupids in “Cupid Troubles”.

On top of those, there are activities you can find by exploring the world. One of them is given out by Merlin: a discovery list! As you are working your way through quests, keep an eye out for sparkles that identify a location or item to record in your Enchanted Notebook. There is also the “Chocolatier's Assistant” activity, where you find chocolates hidden around the map that award you one Storybook Page each. I do not want to give away all of the activities, since part of the fun is finding them yourself, but I will say that the Mad Hatter in the garden might have a collectable in store for you!

Speaking of collectables and stores, it is time to talk about the rewards you can earn this year. I will split these into two categories: common rewards, which are things like banners, which have variants at every event, and exclusive rewards that are more unique.

First, we have the five collectable scarves as well as wearable heads and some banners. Other collectables include the event token, fireworks, an event-exclusive plush, a Statue of the Arts that can be earned through one of the side quests, and an item unlocked after finishing the story.

Next, we have wearables like the Heart-Eye Glasses, the Heart Headband, and Icarus’s Wings. There is also an ugly-cute Cupid pet, a lollipop staff, a Heartstorm charm that surrounds you in adorable hearts, and a Happily Ever After emote pack! You can also check out the Potterworld website for even more Valentine’s items.

That is everything you need to know about this event! I cannot wait to play through the whole thing. So far, my favorite parts are exploring the world, and getting to wear Icarus’s wings. I hope everyone has as much fun as I have been having, and I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day.

Matchmaker, Matchmaker, Make Me a Match!
Server Spotlight
Written by Creme_de_Creme

Hello lovely readers, and welcome to the Server Spotlight column! Have you been to Walden recently? At this time of year, the town is bustling with business. Love has, quite literally, been in the air here in Walden at “The Lovematcher” shop. The business has decreased the hostility between community members and increased the romantic tension. Lovelyn certainly has her hands full this year!

Prior to Lovematcher’s grand opening, the town had been divided into East and West Walden. In East Walden, the rich townsfolk decided to seclude themselves in a gated community. For those that could not afford to live in the mansions, they settled in West Walden.

This separation did not always exist. The severing of this once united community was caused by the greed of a famed wizard pirate and the insatiable hunger for power that his hidden treasure demanded. Out of many who sought the treasure, only a few were successful in taking it for themselves. The civil war over the ownership of the treasure drove a permanent wedge between West and East Walden… or so everyone thought.

Many townsfolk carried the bitterness of that event in their hearts for several generations until a young woman named Lovelyn Rosario moved to Walden from the Philippines. Because she did not grow up in Walden, people trusted her more than they trusted one another.

Thus, when Lovelyn moved to town, people came to her for her guidance. Luckily, her expertise was in the business of love. People from all parts of town came to her seeking relationship advice. She helped couples who were struggling to maintain what they already had, single magicians seeking dating advice, and even acted as a matchmaker for a few of the townsfolk.

Since starting her Lovematcher business in town, she has diligently worked to find the perfect match for her customers, sorting through thousands of potential candidates to find the best love match for all of her clients. Not only that, but she also helps couples sort out their problems so that love can triumph even in the face of attrition. With Lovelyn, love conquers all. Due to the involvement required in her business, she charges 700 gold for her matchmaking services.

While her services may seem expensive, Lovelyn Rosario’s services are of the finest quality, as she never gives up until her customers are satisfied. She makes love her highest priority. When it comes to the rest of your life, what more can you ask for? If she can turn a once spiteful town into a town that seeks love, you know she means business.

With Valentine’s Day less than a week away, make sure to stop by as soon as you can. In the meantime, have a lovely day! This has been Creme_de_Creme reporting for the Daily Diviner.

Date Night Destinations
Lifestyle
Written by autumnngrace

Greetings, witches and wizards of Hogsworth! For this issue, I have traveled across the lovely map and picked out a few astonishing spots to take your significant other to. Not to worry! If you or your partner do not want a traditional date, I am sure you will find something in this article that suits your needs.

The first place that caught my eye whilst traveling was undoubtedly the view from the shops in Rushstone. From the mountains to the water wheel, no matter where you look, Rushstone is sure to make your jaw drop. If you do not want to simply gape at the view, I would suggest going to have some dinner at one of the restaurants. Every restaurant here has breathtakingly good food, so be sure to come more than once to try them all!

If you are looking for a more quiet, relaxed outing, you could head down to Woodshire and go to the book store to browse some books, and then to the park to sit and read the books that you bought at the bookstore. You could even go to the bakery and purchase some sweets to add some flavour to your literary picnic!

The next place I visited was Riddleyard: specifically, the graveyard. While this is an odd place to have a date, it certainly will not disappoint the select few of you that would enjoy a date like this. A nice lunch picnic in a graveyard is honestly an unbeatable date, but it is understandable if this morbid idea does not stick out to some of you. Do not worry; there are more places!

This next one is the one I am personally the most excited about. For this date, you will need to head to Greenshore Harbour. If you want to take your partner fishing, Greenshore is perfect for you! There is plenty of water and plenty of people are willing to take you on their boat. If fishing is not your thing, do not worry. You could always sneak into the Dragon enclosure and pet some Dragons! Maybe be careful doing that one, though.

The last date idea I will be giving you is a pretty simple one, and it also has to do with boats! Listen, if you are like me, and you enjoy a nice boat ride with some music blaring on a hot summer day, this is the perfect date for you. Gnollberg Port has some of the finest boats around and some pretty good weather as well. Sat by water, Gnollberg Port is great for fishing or even just enjoying a nice boat ride to get away from land for a bit.

Those are all the date ideas I will be relaying in this issue, and I definitely recommend you go to check them out. If none of these ideas interest you, do not fret. I am sure you will find an even cuter date spot. The magical world is a large place, after all. I hope you enjoyed reading this article, and I cannot wait to see you next time!
