Created in October of 2020, the WizNewsletter serves as a way for students and staff to recap on the month's updates. WizNetworkers spend countless hours researching, writing, editing, and implementing each section so that the happenings of the wizarding world do not go unnoticed. Let’s get into the news from the past month!

Tranquil Store Releases​

The Store Team has gone out of this world with this Store Release! Check out the new Galaxy Housing Scenery, along with a new Pet Panda, and the Sun Staff. Have you ever wanted to transform into a rat? Now you can, with the new Transfiguration Emotes. Check these items out on the Official Potterworld Store. You can preview these items in the in-game store, or head straight to purchase on our website!​

Maps Rotation ​

We are excited to welcome the new map Grimlotts Vaults to this quarter's rotation! This mysterious and challenging map is sure to provide a new and exciting experience for players. Additionally, be sure to check out Grounds Keeper's Grounds, another new addition that offers a unique and fun gameplay experience. Returning favorites like NYC Pride Parade, The Ministry, and Woodshire are back in rotation, so don't miss the chance to revisit these beloved maps. Whether you're into Quabbleball, 1v1 Arenas, or any of the other minigames on the server, there's something for everyone in this quarter's rotation. Head over to the minigames section and check out the new and returning maps to test your skills and have an amazing time!​

The Voting Store - Reward Packs Update​

The Store Team brought another update for our players, this time concerning the newly refurbished Voting Store! Some minor changes were added to the voting reward packs, including a way to check how many days remain for reward packs and the improvement of said reward packs. Finally, some changes were made to help clarify how many days are required to claim one of these packs. Make sure to check more details about these changes in the original announcement, and don’t forget to head to the Trophy Room in-game to look at these updates for yourself!​

Arena Season 2 Releases​

The second Arena Releases of the season arrived this month, featuring improvements to our current maps and some new and old, revamped maps! The Phoenix Nest Rafting Course and the Hangar Plasma Showdown Arena Halls have arrived to the arena arsenal, and the Winter Flying Course is back with a new chill. Along with that, the Mermaid Cove and Castelomagia maps have received some Quality of Life improvements, so make sure to check those out for yourself! Another exciting update has to do with the Arena Token Shop, and some new releases being rotated in. Make sure to check out the announcement to explore other QoL improvements, the Calendar Update, and updates to the Arena Dueling Halls.​

Personality Bundle Releases​

Eight brand new bundles have made their way to the store, ranging from themes of colors to those that match certain personalities! Perhaps you’d like to show off your smarts with the Intelligent Bundle, featuring items such as The Resting Raven Staff and the Regal Gardens Scenery. Or perhaps you’d like to shine with the Sapphire Bundle, containing the Blue Magic Carpet, Blue Wand Effects, and more! Explore the rest of the bundles for yourself on our website under “Bundles,” or preview these items in the In-Game Store preview. Happy shopping!​

Warp Key Upgrades​

The Store Team is excited to announce that all of the warp keys available have been revamped with some brand new updates! Each warp key has been updated to use both a warp key effect as well as a teleport effect. These effects will be featured as you hold the warp key and teleport! Make sure to select your desired effect by using /warpkeys while holding one, while teleport effects will be automatically applied. These effects can be viewed in the In-Game Store, or you can go ahead and purchase them on our website.​

Echoes of the Past - World Minigames Update​

The Game Design team is proud to present a brand new questline for our players: Echoes of the Past! Hogsworth’s Divination Professor is concerned that one of her proteges has gone missing for longer than usual, and she’s sent the message to everyone in the school! The questline will take you through parts 1-3, where you’ll follow the Serrano family as they teach you about the new world minigames systems. With that being said, the World Minigames Update brings 20 new maps for you to explore around the world, each featuring 3 different versions to unlock. A big thanks to our Game Designers, and everyone involved, and we hope you all enjoy this update!​

2024 Season 1 Arena Champions​

It’s time again to congratulate the first round of champions for this Arena Season, claiming their rightful crowns for the first quarter. Without further ado, let’s start with the Overall Category; congratulations to SmellyLilBro on coming in first! kleneupcuzstink took victory in the Dueling Category, dominating the score. Finally, give a round of applause to HarryPotters on taking the win for the Flying Category with a huge score! Those who made it to the top 6 leaderboard received 50 Arena Tokens to celebrate their hard work, and we hope to see your name in the top next season!​

March 2024 Quabbleball Tournament Winners​

The scores are in, and it’s time we congratulated the winning team for March’s Quabbleball Tournament! With that being said, let’s give a huge congratulations to aklokin and TallBlondeDude on winning! In second place we have Brycaronii, so make sure to congratulate them on their hard work as well. Make sure to check out the final leaderboard on the announcement, and we hope to see you for April’s Quabbleball Tournament!​

April Flying & Dueling Tournament Winners​

Another round of tournaments is finished, which means it’s time to congratulate are hard working and talented arena individuals! To start off, give a big round of applause to M_Engel, government_h, and Invisibilia on coming in first for the 3v3 Flying Tournament. Of course we can’t forget to congratulate the winners of the 3v3 Dueling Tournament, JulioEpicINC, SmellyLilBro, and jacquas! We hope you all enjoyed participating, and we can’t wait to see who rises to the top next month!​
