Hello, everybody! The Engineer Team is glad to share our new balancing patch for Magic! We have tried our best to reach a better combat balancing, creating a more versatile way of dueling. We have tested these changes for a while, and we are happy to to share them with you!
New Spell - Serpensorum
This spell now acts like the old version of Aviforma except instead of spawning multiple chickens, it will now spawn one snake. All damage, range, etc values are the same as the old Aviforma except the snake does slightly more damage as there are no longer four mobs being spawned. This spell is available to all players at level 23.
Spell Changes
Accersio
Accersio now has a shift-cast where you can target up to two people and pull both. This will require you to hit both Accersio projectiles for the spell to go off successfully and this will also share a cooldown with its regular cast.
Aviforma
Aviforma got a full rework and will now shoot 3 birds back to back, locking your spells besides counters and mobility (including Accelemetnum) temporarily.
Cometes
Cometes will now add an Area of Effect of slowness after the spell impacts. We have also removed the Ascendo lock when you are hit by it.
Expulsio
Expulsio will now crack all shields around you within a given radius with a cast time. Mobility spells and counters will be enabled during your cast time, similarly to reworked Aviforma.
Meteorum
Meteorum will now add an Area of Effect of fire after the spell impacts.
Specutelum
Specutelum is now replacing the function of the current Expulsio.
A headshot can now be applied for 1.5x damage multiplier.
Damage now scales depending on how close you hit the target via Area of Effect, if you hit them directly it does more damage than using the Area of Effect to hit the target alone.
Radius reduced from 3 to 2.
Protellomo
Protellomo now has a shift-cast which will put a shield over your head, sharing a cooldown with its regular cast.
Balancing Changes
Aquamento
Now is affected by Tier 2 Duelist Talent - Pyrotechnic Conjuration in all directions for the radius.
Cooldown increased from 5 to 8 seconds.
Confundo
Velocity increased from 100 to 150.
Finite Enchantum
Removed the two second shield locks after cast.
Mana reduced from 25 to 20.
Ignatium
No longer locks Magmify for 3 seconds.
Immboilio
Particles updates slightly to have more detail.
Mana cost reduction from 34 to 24.
Leviocorpum
No longer act like Recanto Enchantum by cancelling status effects.
Range increased from 30 to 35.
Velocity increased from 120 to 300.
Levitation duration decreased from 2 seconds to 1.5 seconds base.
Levosus
Protellum lock reduced from 1.35 seconds to 0.5 seconds.
Protellomo lock reduced from 0.75 seconds to 0.5 seconds.
Magmify
Cooldown reduced from 18 seconds to 12.5 seconds.
Mana reduced from 30 to 18.
Obscurio
Particle effects have been added to the projectile and when hitting an entity.
A headshot can now be applied for 1.5x damage multiplier.
Similar to Ignatium, Obscurio will now lock blindness counters for 2.5 seconds.
19% damage reduction.
Propulso:
Reduced damage by 30%.
Protellomo:
Reduced Protellum lock from 3 seconds to 1 second.
Duration increased by 0.5 seconds.
Protellum:
Lowered Protello and Protellomo lock from 2 seconds to 1 second.
Venenox:
Now damages the caster if they walk into it.
Range reduced from 45 to 40.
Vulnamedius:
Healing reduced by 5%.
