I arrived in Seoul on Wednesday, before I am heading to Daejon this coming Tuseday. (doing some international animal rescue work at a sanctuary/shelter there as part of a placement a small while)
I've been exhausted after travel and meeting up with an old friend from a previous trip from years ago and hiking. It was a beautiful day. Which makes everything worse.
To know what has happened down in Itaewon, it breaks my heart. Halloween isn't really celebrated much in my home country, so I've always loved to see it celebrated when abroad. Now I'm unsure if I will ever, without being so saddened by the tragedy today. So many lives lost in what was supposed to be a happy, fun event, turned horrific in the worst possible way.
I feel cold and so sad.
삼가 고인의 명복을 빕니다.
