I think the compass should also have a way to show if the target is... say... 2 or more blocks above or below the player's position. That would make finding the destination much easier. A small arrow facing up or down would be more than enough.

The shop system doesn't work for items nobody wants to have or when everybody sells the same stuff. It would be much more efficient and fun if you could just exchange the gear with an NPC or menu for a low base price and earn some gold through that. Would it be possible for the resource pack to have numbers on the hotbar as a little quality of life thing? That way I don't have to guess which key I have to press when I'm trying to get the spell I want. Similar to this:
