This year, the residents of Hogsend are celebrating Butterbrew early by hosting a carnival! Explore the decorated streets of Hogsend, play some exciting carnival games, win lots of plushies and prizes, and participate in not only one, but two competitions!
Speak to Carnival Kevin at the Great Hall to travel to the Butterbrew Hogsend. The Butterbrew Carnival will be in town until October 1st.
Quests & Activities
In your quest journal, you will see a new icon for the Butterbrew Carnival. This will be accessible throughout the entire event and will be disabled after the event ends. Upon completing quests, you will be rewarded Event Tokens. There are two main quests as well as five carnival games. You will get 6 game tokens a day from Carnival Kevin at the event that you can use at the carnival games to play whichever games you'd like in whichever order!
Minigames & Repeatable Gameplay
Speak to the Minigames Master at the event in order to play the new minigames: High Top Hop and Trapeze Trouble. You can also play some classics as well, like Butterbrew Plunge, Brewmaster's Flight, Ice Cream Maze, Mirror Maze, and Brewery Bound. Completing these minigames will award bonus Event Tokens!
All games in /games will also award Event Tokens for the duration of the event.
There are two competitions to participate in at the Butterbrew Carnival: The Brewing Battles and the Petting Zoo.
The Brewing Battles will sort you randomly into one of three teams. You can complete short activities to collect ingredients to then brew into different tiers of Butterbrew to contribute towards your team's goals! The faster you brew, the higher the tier. The winning team will be able to collect a trophy collectable with their team name on it for free! The 2nd and 3rd place teams will have to purchase the trophy from the winning team's vendor.
The Petting Zoo is a house point competition! Purchase creature feed from Natalia using Event Tokens and feed creatures in order to earn points towards your house for that creature type! At the end of the event, each house that won a creature type will receive a prize of house points towards the house cup.
Rewards
You can purchase rewards with Event Tokens at the Rewards NPC in Hogsend at the Butterbrew Carnival. We have a few old rewards, as well as some newer ones! There are also special team rewards at the brewery team NPCs. You can also trade Event Tokens in for Gold at a 1 to 1 ratio at the Rewards NPC, although all balances will be exchanged to Gold automatically after the event ends.
