Hello Witches and Wizards!

As we head into July, the Developer team is happy to announce the release of our new Ignore System as well as several quality of life additions in response to further feedback regarding our recent Party and Friends updates.

As something that has been requested for years, we are excited to announce that the Ignore System functions as detailed below:
  • You can use /ignore <player> to ignore a player
  • To unignore a player, you can use /unignore <player>
  • To view a list of ignored players, use /ignore list
Ignoring a player means you won't see their messages in chat and that they're not able to message you.
You are also not able to message a player you have ignored. However, if you have someone ignored, they will still be able to see your messages in chat.

Please note that you are unable to ignore staff members and in return a staff member cannot have any ignored players.

We want this command to be a way for you to play the game without getting frustrated by other players, who might not necessarily be breaking the rules, but may just not be the type of person you want to see chatting. This does not excuse rule breaking. Any breaking of our rules should be reported to staff immediately.

On top of this we have also made the following changes to the Party system:
  • New to parties is the /party public command which allows you to make it so players can join a party without being invited
  • In response to this we have created /party list menu which displays a list of public parties one can join
  • Party leaders can also use /party description <description> to edit the description of their party displayed in the /party list menu
  • We have added /party join <player> as an alias to /party accept <player>
  • Finally we have made /party owner <player> an alias of /party promote <player>

Furthermore, the following two small changes have been made to the Friends system:
  • You can now accept an incoming friend request via /f add <player> if there is already an invite pending
  • We've changed the background in the friend related menus to use a bluer background so that the player heads stand out more

Finally we have an additional two miscellaneous changes which are highlighted below:
  • To our guilds system, we have also added the /guild list command, which similar to the party version of this command, displays a list of public guilds one can join
  • To conclude this update, we have also allowed housing chests to open while the player is holding collectable items

That is it for this update. We hope you enjoy these changes.

Happy playing!
