Im coming back to minecraft after years of being away. im having trouble connecting to the server tho. ive tried both java and windows versions and neither let me on, am i doing something wrong?

I am sorry you are experiencing connection issues. You must use a legitimate Minecraft: Java Edition account to join our server. Our IP address is play.potterworldmc.com, and you can join on any version between 1.10 and 1.13. We recommend version 1.12.2.

so im running on 1.20.4, is there a way to roll back jave addition when aquired through xbox pc game pass? considering buying it again outright through their website.
