I was reading the QB Ingame Leaderboard suggestion and started to wonder if it were possible to have a Gaming Halls area similar to the Dueling Halls area.

  • Gaming Halls would show the top players in the leaderboard for each of the minigames in /games.
  • It could be an alternative way for players to join minigames instead of through /games.
  • It could have separate areas related to each game. It wouldn't have to be as big as the rooms in Dueling Halls, maybe half the size?
  • These areas can be themed to the minigame, it could show an action shot with NPCs playing in it or with armor stands.
  • These separate areas can show players the minigame's rules or how to play each game through 3D holographic displays or through an NPC.
  • There could be an NPC that can give a list of maps for each minigame and show them in a GUI with information such as who built the map, how big it is, when it was released, and maybe the types of blocks players can hide as if it were for the Hide & Seek map NPC.
  • If possible, it could add an archive or event minigames area.
  • This Gaming Hall would be great for Quabbleball especially with showing players how to play each position in the game.

Hello @Somnambulist!!

We think this is an interesting idea, and we would like to have a minigames location on the real map. Therefore, we have decided to accept this suggestion! However, implementing this is not a high-priority project as of right now, but we do like the overall idea and think it could be especially interesting for those who play minigames often, as well as allow newer players to visit this area to learn how to play a certain game.
Thank you once again for making this suggestion. I hope you have a wonderful day:serpent:
