S.A.W.D. and Werewolf Rights have come a long way since its origin in 2018. After a year and a half of fighting for Werewolf rights, a meeting was finally held between the Werewolves and the Ministry during the summer of 2020. From that meeting came long awaited justice for Werewolves. Werewolves were finally accepted as humans and were given protection under the law from unprovoked attacks. Funding was raised to help the treatment of Werewolves through items like the Wolfsbane Potion. The meeting was a victory for Werewolves across the magical world, due to S.A.W.D.'s persistent protests and calls for action. We have you to thank for that. But the fight is not over. Although Werewolves have gained so much, they still are not treated as equal to witches and wizards by many. That needs to change. S.A.W.D. will fight day in and day out until Werewolves are given the entire equality they deserve. That means equal access to jobs, housing, and medical service. We will protest. We will fight. We will be treated as equal.
