Optional "Ding" sound when recieving messages

I've noticed that I don't notice messages whenever the chats moving fast or I'm tabbed out of the game. On some other servers, they have an XP orb "Ding!" sound whenever a message is received.
I think it'd be cool to see a toggleable option in the /me settings like this on potterworld so I know I have messages if I tab out or I miss one in a fast-moving chat.

at the moment, I use labymod to play a ding and highlight whenever [PM] is put into chat since that string of characters is rarely used outside of an actual pm
