Plasma Blade Creation Tutorial

This May the Fourth, you have the opportunity to build your own Plasma Blade! This tutorial will walk you through the exact steps of how to do so.

There are two components to a Plasma Blade: a piece of Kryalite and a Hilt. These are each obtained separately, then combined at Cerela Juda in the Workshop located in the basement of the Cantina.

Hilts
There are three different types of lightsaber hilts: Single Plasma Blade Hilts, Double Plasma Blade Hilts, and Cross Plasma Blade Hilts. Each can only be combined specific colors of Kryalite as follows:

Single Plasma Blade Hilts: Red, Blue, Green
Double Plasma Blade Hilts: Red, Yellow
Cross Plasma Blade Hilts: Red

To create a Hilt, you need to gather both complex components and simple components. These can be purchased from Groff in the basement of the Cantina near the entrance to the Workshop. Some hilts may require more than one of each component. See the different Hilt Blueprints at Cerela Juda in the Workshop.

- Complex Components : These are purchased with Star Tokens and include the Chassis, Emitter Matrix, and Sleeve Casing.
- Simple Components : These are purchased with Metal Scraps and include the Activation Switch, Pommel End Cap, and Grip Plating. Earn Scrap Metal by playing May the Fourth Minigames in /games or by completing the Escape from the Doom Moon quest. Once you have played a minigame, speak to the Star Battle Information NPC to obtain your Scrap Metal!

Once you have all of the necessary components, click an assembly station in the Workshop to assemble your Hilt!

Kryalite
Kryalite is mined from Geodes on Illius, which can be accessed by speaking to Nightwitch Merana in the Cantina. Each Geode has a 20% chance to give a piece of Raw Kryalite and a 5% chance to give two pieces of Raw Kryalite. Even if you have bad luck, you will automatically get a piece of Raw Kryalite after mining 25 Geodes! Each Geode can be mined again after 12 hours.

Once you have obtained Raw Kryalite, speak to Nightwitch Merena to exchange it for your desired Kryalite Color. Keep in mind that not every Hilt can be combined with every Kryalite Color!

Assembly
Speak to Cerela Juda in the Workshop beneath the Cantina with both your Hilt and your Kryalite to combine them into a Plasma Blade! Click your swap items key (F by default) to ignite or de-ignite your Plasma Blade.
