Potterworld Wiki: New Pages & Edits [October 5th 2024]



Greetings, all!

The Scribe team is excited to release a new set of patch notes for the official PotterworldMC Wiki! This batch will cover the new pages and updates that have been implemented since our previous patch notes, specifically throughout the past year. One of the recent changes we have introduced is adding a range of lore pages to the wiki, and we're excited for more players to read about the lore on our server.

New Pages:
Below is the list of the new pages that have been written and implemented onto the wiki!
Edits Implemented:
Many edits were made to already existing pages due to new server changes.
  • A Curse Reignited
    • Expanded the list of collectables
  • A Future Unforetold (Old)
    • Updated the page to outline this is an old quest and is no longer used
  • Baybrooke Manors
    • Updated the page with new lore
  • Commands
    • Added various new commands: /xpboosts, /wineffects, /settings, /quests items
  • Community Management
    • Updated to show that the Store team moved from CM to Media
  • Diagonal Lane
    • Added the Rising Healer: Reunited quest
  • Echoes of the Past - Part 1
    • Updated dialogues because they were changed post-release
  • Events
    • Continued to update as events were released
    • Expanded on collectable tokens and the event token pouch
  • Fantastical Carnival 2019
    • Expanded the list of collectables
  • Feathers Afloat (Old)
    • Updated the page to outline this is an old quest and is no longer used
  • Fire Dust Network
    • Added Woodshire
    • Edited the page to mention the history of removing fire dust
  • Gear
    • Included information and stats on gear released from events
  • General NPCs
    • Included Reputation NPCs
  • Gold
    • Updated the history section because the ways to gain Gold have changed, such as the removal of Soulshard Wars and the change of parkours and mazes to Echoes
  • Hidden Chests
    • Updated the page as fire dust can no longer be collected from hidden chests
  • Hogsworth
    • Added Echoes of the Past Part 1 & Part 3 quests to the quests table
    • Added the Rising Healer quests to the quests table
    • Updated the quests table to include the First Year Experience quests
  • Hogsend
    • Added Echoes of the Past Part 2 to the quests table
  • House Cup Winners
    • Continued to implement recent house cup winners
  • Ireland
    • Added the Melody on the Street quest to our quests table
  • Levelling
    • Provided an update that only 5 Arena Tokens are required to transfer for XP, not 10.
  • Location Discovery
    • Added Appleby Village, Longbay Landing, the Ministry of Magicians, The Dwelling, and Woodshire to our location discovery
  • Magical Cuisine Class
    • Updated the page to outline this is an old quest, no longer used
  • Magical Schools
    • Added L’École du Monde Occulte
  • Media & Public Relations
    • Updated to show that the Store team moved from CM to Media
  • Minigames
    • Added information about Echoes to the page
  • Mobs
    • Added Minotaur, Kearpon and Bizirik to our mobs section
  • Monsters and Herbology
    • Updated the page to outline this is an old quest and is no longer used
  • Potions Class
    • Updated the page to outline this is an old quest and is no longer used
  • Potter Points
    • Provided an update on tournaments and giveaways providing Gift Cards instead of Potter Points
  • Quests
    • Added recently introduced quests: any in Woodshire, the ones as part of Blood Feud, and Melody on the Street
  • Riddleyard
    • Added the Repair for a Ride quest to the quests table
  • Spells List
    • Added the Potterworld Crest Fireworks, Minificus, Enfurio, Accelementum, Serpensorum, and changed the level of Signum
    • Updated descriptions for Specutelum, Aviforma, and Obscurio
    • Added a block-specific spell interactions section
  • Spring Festival 2020
    • Expanded the list of collectables
  • Store Team
    • Updated to show that the Store team moved from CM to Media
  • The Quabbleball Pitch
    • Updated the page to outline this is an old quest and is no longer used
  • Tristmoor
    • Updated that a Vendor was added to Tristmoor
    • Added the Rising Healer: Recommended quest to the quests table
  • Vendor
    • Updated that a Vendor was added to Tristmoor
  • Voting Tokens
    • Updated the page with the Voting Shop Update
