Hello readers, and welcome to a limited edition of the Daily Diviner! Today: while the Hogsworth students and professors celebrate the start of the Spring Festival, the rest of the world manages its shock amidst the newest Dark Follower attack.
For our readers not yet caught up with the Dark Followers’ latest activity: they elected their newest Dark Lord, Joel Crestello, just two weeks ago. Upon his election, Joel challenged the Ministry of Magicians’ label for Dark Followers as ‘bad guys’.
Today, April 11th, marks the Dark Follower’s first move under their new leader. Here is what we know from today’s incident:
This morning, Sara Crestello and Noah Pendragon, members of the Dark Lord’s inner circle, gathered with numerous Dark Followers to stage an attack on the Aurorlock Manor in Hogsend. While unconfirmed as of now, rumors suggest that their objective revolved around discovering proof of treachery within the Ministry of Magicians.
Before the Dark Followers could complete their search, the Aurorlocks arrived at the scene to intervene. They immediately captured one of the Dark Lord’s lieutenants, Noah Pendragon, while the others scattered. Noah now awaits questioning from the Aurorlocks, imprisoned at their base.
The Aurorlock Manor remains open to the public, even after the attack. Passersby have noted minor damages to the building, as well as files scattered nearby. Before the crime scene is blocked off, it might be worth investigating for yourself. The questions, however, remain: when and where will the Dark Followers strike next? Is there corruption within the Ministry? Whom can we trust?
