After the ritual explosion created by the recently deceased goblin Grux, a multitude of countries seemed to have sent out reports to the British Ministry of Magicians about strange phenomena occurring. The Indian Ministry of Magicians reported that a large unmagical population of the city of Mumbai have somehow received magical abilities, and they have been using it to terrorise both the magical and unmagical populations. Other countries that have reported similar events include New Zealand, China, USA, Canada, Brazil, France and Germany.
Further chaos spurs with a group of rebel ‘new-magicals’ that have been causing absolute carnage around Western Europe. Various private wizarding establishments including hidden streets, schools, stores and more have been attacked, raided and vandalised. The reason behind this seems to be cruel confusion at the moment. Thus far, the United Kingdom appears to be free from these attacks, but there are rumours that speak of an uprising approaching soon.
