Travel to and explore a school long lost to legends - Galdrakademia. Founded many years ago as Vikings found their way to Greenland, they sought to protect the power of natural magic, secluding it from anyone who sought to use it's power for evil. Skate across the Fjord, dine in the Great Hall nestled into the roots of Yggdrasil, and perhaps even become the first outsider in hundreds of years to learn Galdrakademian Magic, a brand new system of magic for all to enjoy. The school is yours to explore... So long as you can find a way to get the weary students to trust you.

Quests & Activites
In your Quest Journal, you will see a new icon for the Winter Waltz Event. This will be accessible throughout the entire event and will be disabled after the event ends. Upon completing quests, you will be rewarded ❊ Snowflakes! There are seven main quests that can be completed once, three side quests that can be completed once every 12 hours, and five side quests that can be completed once every three hours.

In addition to the quests, there is also an exclusive activities to enjoy! Ratatoskr has an advent calendar of riddles ready to be solved and decorations ready to be retrieved! Check back everyday at 12 AM Pacific Standard Time (PST) to receive a new riddle up until January 1st, 2025! You don't want to miss out on these daily reward opportunities!

The Everleaf Guild
Get involved in extracurriculars at Galdrakademia by joining The Everleaf Guild! It is Galdrakademia's premiere student-led training program, to allow students to truly master their Conduits. Participate in a variety of training modules to train your skills as you prepare to face off against students and conjured nymphs in The Grove. Additionally, there are three arenas where you can battle your friends in 1v1 duels and in teams! Through all of these club activities, you earn Sprouts, which allow you to unlock exclusive rewards on the Botanical Brawl Pass as you continue to grow your renoun among The Everleaf Guild! If you prove yourself to be apart of the best of the best, you may find yourself on the top of some of the leaderboards in The Leaf. If you are one of those players when the event ends, you will be rewarded 10 house points and 1,000 gold. Each player is only able to receive rewards from one leaderboard so other students have a chance to win as well.

The Grove Rules
While participating in combat within the depths of The Grove, there are a few rules you must follow to be able to continue to participate and compete for rewards. Please be mindful of these rules as breaking these rules will result in disqualification from competing in FFA. Leadership has the right to determine suspicious or rule-breaking behaviour.
1. You are not allowed to have two accounts in The Grove at once.
2. No abusing glitches. If any glitches are found, you must report them to staff members and then leave the glitch alone. Please do not make others aware of the glitch as well.
3. No teaming with other players. This includes working together to kill other players or allowing players to kill you.
4. All Potterworld rules apply including Minigame Rules.

Minigames & Repeatable Gameplay
Speak to the Minigame Students at the event in order to play through the new minigames, or you can return to some old classics as well. You can also give a shot at Frigid Fixing, a game based on fixing the inside of a snow globe at fast speeds, but if you're interested in the astronomy side of things - the Stargazing game is perfect for you, just be sure to remember their positions before they disappear. Completing these minigames will award bonus Snowflakes!

All games in /games will also reward Snowflakes for the duration of the event.

Rewards
You can purchase rewards with Snowflakes at the marketplace. We have a few old rewards, as well as some newer ones! You can also trade Snowflakes in for Gold at a 1-to-1 ratio at the exchange stand, although all balances will be exchanged to Gold automatically after the event concludes.

Uniforms
If you want to fit in amongst the other students at Galdrakademia, you can get your own uniform for yourself with one of our downloadable bases! Customize and show your own style by recoloring the light grey embroidery or the base color of the clothes. You can also add just the cloak overtop of your own outfit! The dark cloak with embroidery is the best way to blend in with the students at this year's Winter Waltz!
