Created in October of 2020, the WizNewsletter serves as a way for students and staff to recap on the month's updates. WizNetworkers spend countless hours researching, writing, editing, and implementing each section so that the happenings of the wizarding world do not go unnoticed. SERVER ANNOUNCEMENTS
Winter season is finally here, and with it the holly and joy of the holidays. There’s nothing to get us more in the holiday mood than to see what the store team has been working on! From gingerbread men to tribute to the Winter Waltz, the store team has been busy! Not only were we gifted two new warp keys- a mesmerizing snow globe, and an adorable gingerbread man- but we also hats dedicated to the wonderful school we’ve spent our Winter Waltz at, so we can keep a bit of École du Monde Occulte with us as the season passes. Be sure to check these stores out and thank the Store team- and don’t forget to check out the Drooble’s Order subscription, as new winter exclusives are available as well! We are excited to announce the return of the Winter Minigames Tournaments! This year, the tournaments will feature Wand Spleef, Snowballing, and Sledding. The tournaments will be staggered, with a new game tournament starting each week. The schedule is Wand Spleef from December 9th to 15th, Sledding from December 16th to 22nd, and Snowballing from December 23rd to 29th. Don't forget, each tournament comes with a mystery exclusive map along with ones new and old. Be sure to participate for a chance to win incredible rewards like Potter Points and arena tokens, which will be given out after the Winter Waltz event concludes. Best of luck to all the players and we hope to see you join in on the fun!
As the weather got colder, so did our new store releases for the month of December! Some of the brand new items include Candy Cane Wand and Death Effects, as well as a frosty new Icicle Broom Wand Appearance. Along with these, our holiday seasonal items made a comeback featuring a Mistletoe Crown, Holiday Emotes, The Snowflake Staff, and much more! That’s not all though, a 40% off sale was introduced, and lasted all the way until December 31st. Make sure to check out the seasonal releases before the return to the North Pole on January 8th!
GAMEPLAY UPDATES
Embark on the enchanting Winter Waltz event at École du Monde Occulte nestled within Togo's mystical Nok Caves by speaking to Kevin at the Great Hall. Dive into the Quests & Activities available in your Quest Journal, completing main quests and side quests every 12 hours to earn Snowflakes and solve daily riddles until December 25, 2023. Engage in Minigames & Repeatable Gameplay with the Minigame Students, enjoying classics like Frigid Fixing and Stargazing for bonus Snowflakes, available in /games throughout the event. Use your earned Snowflakes to acquire marketplace rewards or exchange them for Gold before the event concludes on January 5th. Gratitude to all who made this captivating experience possible—don't miss this chance to explore the magical wonders of École du Monde Occulte!
COMMUNITY UPDATES
After hard work and intense games, the victor for the November/December Quabbleball Tournament was presented! Without further ado, make sure to congratulate cheddarsoup on their first place standing without the tournament. Check out the leaderboard for all of the other hardworking witches and wizard, and we can’t wait to see you for the January 2024 Quabbleball Tournament!
The Holiday Season never fails to strike joy in all Wizard’s and Witch’s hearts. A little bonus every year is the full 24 hours we dedicate to classes. The 24 Hours of Classes event is a student favorite, as the Academic Team dedicates an entire day to classes. Every hour, from 12 am to 11 pm, the professors host a different class for students to attend. Some of these classes that were hosted this year included; Flying, Charms, Wandlore, and everyone’s favorite, WizPE- as well as many others! The dedication that the Academic Team has to host this event yearly is phenomenal- some professors even stay up late just to host a class! Whenever you see a professor next, make sure to give them a huge thanks! Can’t wait to see the class roster for next year’s 24 Hours of Classes!
Congratulations to M_Engel, Invisibilia, and jacquas for their outstanding victory at the 3v3 Flying Tournament! Kudos also go out to SmellyLilBro, jacquas, and Maxwheell on their impressive success in the 3v3 Dueling Tournament, as well as Davologies, Kasologies, and Enzologies for their well-deserved win in the 3v3 Sledding Tournament. Your skills and teamwork were truly remarkable! To all players who may or may not have joined in on the fun, don't miss out on next month's tournaments; so mark your calendars and make sure to get in on the action and showcase your talents!

Calling all fliers, duelers, and even sledders and rafters! The Tournament Schedule for the new year has been released, and is packed full of action and adventure. As a reminder, all tournaments will take place on Saturdays at 12pm PST, so make sure to clear your schedules ahead of time. Make sure to keep an eye out for further announcements regarding tournaments and challenges, and we can’t wait to see you there!
