SERVER ANNOUNCEMENTS
Love is in the air once again, and the Store Team knocked it out of the park with these new adorable additions! The Valentine’s Day Store Release is one of the cutest yet. With items such as a new Pink Affection Wand Effects, and a seasonal Valentine’s Scenery, at least one of these items is sure to tug at your heartstrings. You can check out more of these heart-throbbing items on the Official Potterworld Store- but hurry, as most of these items are only available until March 8th!
We are thrilled to announce that Shira is stepping into the role of Head of Build! Having previously excelled as the Assistant to Head of Build, Shira has demonstrated remarkable skill and leadership within the department. In her new role, she will collaborate closely with Emma to ensure the Build team continues to deliver outstanding experiences for players. Shira's dedication and talent have already made a significant impact, and we are confident that she will guide the team to even greater heights. We look forward to the exciting developments ahead under her leadership. Congratulations, Shira!
GAMEPLAY UPDATESExciting news from the Development Blog of 2025! It has been a busy year filled with significant progress on server upgrades since the last update. As the team is targeting a major jump to version 1.18, moving beyond the challenges of 1.16 while enhancing stability and performance across the servers minigames and plugins. Key achievements include resolving long-standing bugs, optimizing player experience by reducing lag, and welcoming back the Curse Breakers into the Tech and Dev team to enhance future developments. The team also improved our feedback process through revamped Poltergeist and Discord Forums. As the team focuses on perfecting our 1.18 upgrade, we look forward to sharing more updates as we begin staff testing soon! For all the details, check out the full blog post.
Get ready for the enchanting Valentine's Event in the Enchanted Valley! Speak to Kevin outside the Great Hall to enter a whimsical storybook world and strengthen bonds with loved ones. Complete main quests and engage in fun, repeatable side quests every 3 or 12 hours to earn storybook pages and event tokens. Don't miss exciting activities like chocolate hunting and seeking secrets from the wise Merlin for more rewards! Keep an eye on your quest journal for all event content, and trade your event tokens in the Town's Marketplace for amazing new treasures. Join the festivities before they vanish on March 8th!
COMMUNITY UPDATESExciting news for Arena 2025 Season 1! The team has made key updates to the maps, including accessibility enhancements in the Enchanted Valley and improved spectator views in several arenas. The Arena Token Shop has refreshed its offerings with nostalgic items and new 2025 banners. We’ve also implemented quality-of-life fixes, including bug resolutions and the planned return of Plasma Showdown by May 2025.
