To join our family, you very well must
o Appose S.P.E.W and all of their ideals.
Their Organization may believe that they are doing good, but in reality they are promoting Homelessness and Joblessness for employed and familial house elves who believe that S.P.E.W is their salvation.
o You must be a pureblood
Dirty blood is not permitted in the Van Cortlandts family tree, any being is permitted into our family as long as they are born as a pureblooded magical creature.
o You must send message and request to join to the Head of the Family
Addressing yourself as a Van Cortlandt without messaging the head of the family, will automatically deny you any chance of being an official member. The head of the family remembers every member of the Van Cortlandts and attempting to address yourself as such without proper certification will give you nothing but a fair share of cold stares from the family.
