Since revelius, casting any spell has removed a player from their broom. A commonly cast spell whilst on brooms is Lumen/Lumos, to allow the flyer to see where they are going more clearly. Whilst flying at night around the map, players now temporarily fall off their broom if they cast lumos to see where they are going. This can cause them to lose the direction theyre travelling in, as well as the momentum built up, but is also just generally annoying.

I propose that if Lumen/Lumos is cast by somebody flying, it does not knock them off their broom, as it was pre-revelius.

I totally agree with you, it is very annoying when you’re in a dark forest on your broom and do you use Lumos/Lumen then you fall off your broom

Howdy Tang! I totally agree with this! I'm always on a chest run & I find that I need to use Lumen ALOT! I think this happens for all spell casting but I think if they could add Lumen that would totally be helpful for players. (y)

I agree 100%! I feel like it's always nighttime on the map so I often use lumen when flying around. Having to fall off the broom temporarily makes travelling take much longer than necessary as well

Hello again @Tang,

Thanks again for your suggestion! Unfortunately, we will have to decline it because it's not possible at the moment. Brooms function via spells after Revelius, as do spells obviously. It's not possible to have two spells used at the same time, therefore this cannot be changed. We apologize for the inconvenience :(

Take care and enjoy your day,
Aurora
