1. Change Trivia so that you have to write the correct answer or letter in chat, istg people are just randomly clicking an option and winning, while you can't even read the question, thats not fun at all
2. Buff the Knockout spell, growth, remove the cooldown or reduce the platform size, it's just that most people don't even die while playing this game. (just to clarify I'm talking about the "Knockout" game and NOT the "Knockout Zone" game)
3. Also remove Find The Gold because there is no skill evolved and it's 100% luck :D:D:D:D

id like to add tag's loss con is bad. The first 25 seconds per round make no difference, since you can get tagged with 2 seconds left and just lose. Id much prefer a reverse crown styled game where you lose health by being "it" and the winner is last one standing. The other wincon that is bad is def gold, as it feels like its all luck (which it is). Totally second on kb, ive never seen anyone die in my limited sample size of 2 games of Knockout.

Definitely agree on all of these but it probably wouldn’t help if players typed the letter into the chat for the trivia since it wouldn’t really discourage guessing before the question appears
Another smaller thing is the ding that happens every time someone gets an owl in the owl shooting game. It’s very confusing to me because I think I got an owl when I didn’t do maybe that could be made so it only dings the person who hit the owl?

Agree with Knockout (the one with the dragon in the arena). Most of the players are usually on the platform by the time the game ends. Maybe create random holes in the platform instead of making it all flat and solid? That way players get a chance of being flipped into them or have to avoid them.

1. Something I do in Trivia, which I know some other peeps that do it also, is that we do not read the questions and just click on the answers (As the answers are fairly easy to learn.) I do agree though it could prob be reworked better to allow new players to learn the questions. Even knowing the answers, I run into some instances I just give up in the minigame cause the same person is just faster than me at clicking answers.

2. One hundred percent agree on the stuff for Knockout. I have quite a handful of screenshots of no one being knocked off cause I was planning on making this exact suggestion at some point.

3. I disagree on removing Find the Gold as I fairly enjoy it. I would like to see more "luck" based minigames in the future in Party Games to balance out the skill based ones as Party Games is supposed to be more laid back and fun, which I find Find the Gold being. Find the Gold ensures the same people doesn't win all 6 rounds in a row (like tends to happen with the skill based minigames) and gives the chance to newcomers.

Disagree, I think skill based minigames are important and is what they should focus on for sure because everyone can train to be good at these which already makes it more fair, minigames in general shouldn’t be too much luck based because then people who did well in previous games can just lose their lead for smth they can’t be consistently good at. There are already „laid back“ minigames such as Trivia or this potion game. I agree tho that they should release more skill based content that doesn’t specifically involve Dueling to make it more interesting for the overall playerbase. Also I don’t see a problem with same person just winning all 6 rounds. If they do, that means they’re really good at the game and deserved the win unlike someone who would only win luck based minigames. Like people should queue up for an exciting gameplay experience and not for gambling lol

Imo I don't see any issue with having a few luck-based games amongst the skill-based games. We have the flying minigame, quabbleball, challenges, tournaments, and other forms of competition on Potterworld so having a game where there's a little luck involved isn't so bad to me. It's not even like it's ALL luck-based either, it's literally one game out of 13 and you only get 6 of the games, so the chances the luck-based game will appear isn't super high. We might introduce a few more luck-based games but that'll be with more skill-based games so it'll still remain around the same sort of ratio of luck-based games to skill-based games.

Also, if you're really that far in the lead, losing one win because it was a bit based on luck isn't going to hurt your final score that much. It's just nice for that player to receive a satisfying win than to lose every game.

Alright if it remains around the same ratio it's chill

Heya @Frebii and everyone that gave feedback!

Thank you for making these suggestions and sharing them with us, and thank you to those who put their feedback on this thread. We're always searching for ways to improve the server and making it fun and fair for all players, so we will be taking everything within this thread into consideration once we discuss it.

At this time, I will bring up your suggestion to the rest of the staff team for further discussion. Once the Leadership Team has reached a decision, I will return to you with a response as soon as possible!

Thank you again, and I hope you have a wonderful day!

I think theres 2 other ways Trivia can be done better
1ST: Doors or something, basically trivia questions are asked and you have click the right door (that corisponds with an answer). Get the right door and you are sent to another randomised question. Go through the wrong door and ur either OUT of sent back to the start, a little like the goblin game.
2ND: Same sort of thing as what is in place right now but instead answering a question wrong puts you a point down and rather than it being the first to answer, its more like the person to get the highest score in a set time. So a little like the potions in hotbar one#

However I think Trivia honestly could just be removed as its complicated and wouldnt even be trivia after the first few play throughs as everyone wud have it memorised
LIKE IF YOU AGREE

Heya @Frebii and those who have given their feedback on this thread!

Sorry for the long wait! After discussing these suggestions with the Leadership team, we have decided to accept them. I'd also like to inform you that they have been completed as well! We understand the concern of the majority of players clicking the answer quickly, as it lessens the enjoyment of the game. There’s already the option to type the answer in chat, but we will not be removing either one. Instead, we have decided to balance Trivia in terms of the variety of questions and their difficulty, as well as how points are distributed. As for buffing the Knockout spell, we realised a while back that there was a small bug regarding the spells, which caused it to not increase over time, so that has been fixed since then! Regarding the Find the Gold game, this has already been removed, as we agree that it requires further reworking.

We hope that you continue to create more suggestions or feedback and share them with us, as we're always looking for ways to improve the server! Thank you again for making these suggestions, and I hope you have a good day!
