So yeah maybe put an ingame Leaderboard for Quabbleball (as there are for Dueling and Flying already) at the Dueling Halls to make it look like a legitimate sport. I'd say maybe you could make a 30 days Leaderboard and an All Time Leaderboard ingame like you know it from other servers. I think it would really help promoting the gamemode and people that recently play a lot of Quabbleball could also get some recognition because it's really hard for newer players to actually climb on the Leaderboard yet alone come in the Top 20 would take you months of consistent playing (yet alone the queue doesn't always fill up)

If they do plan to put a leaderboard they shouldn't include the All-time Leaderboard stats from the website (https://potterworldmc.com/game/quabble-ball/general-leaderboard) because players were able to leave the game earlier before they got a loss added to their stats - until recently when they changed how leaving a game works now. I'm sure players have legit win-losses, but I think it would be better if the In-game leaderboards had a refresh, maybe when they release the next Quabbleball update?

hm i dont think excluding the "loss evasion" games would change smth off the overall outcome of the all time leaderboard

Eh, I haven't really seen 15 out of the top 20 players on the server as much as before. But I think a new scoreboard would be better than having the old one with the mix.

I don't think that's gonna happen it would disrespect the players progress too much

Thanks so much for your suggestion! We are always looking for ways to improve the server and make it more enjoyable for everyone. I definitely understand where you're coming from in terms of this suggestion. Therefore, I've decided to bring this up with the rest of the poltergeist team! I am deeply thankful for the long consideration the poltergeist team has considered in regaurds to this suggustion I wish to provide my support for a leaderboard reset when/if the new version of QB comes out, similar to the new 1v1 duels. While I am not certain an ingame leaderboard by the arena team is the best, I think putting in monthly leaderboards for all the minigames somewhere cool like the greathall may be very interesting.

As a (former) QB sweat, who hopes to return after quabbleball comes back, I do not think that a leaderboard reset woudl be the greatest decision. Lots of people have poured their time and hard work into getting to the top of the leaderboard, and lots of them don't game throw. It would be very unfair to these people to just take away their hard-earned effort for no good reason. I do however think that a monthly/weekly leaderboard would be an awesome idea, and I hope it's implemented.

i have more plays then everyone in this thread combined, my point is more valid.

I have 2nd most plays + the first player isnt around anymore.

unironically tho loss evading being removed + a 4 month down time makes now a perfect time to reset lb. as much as higher players claim they didn't loss evade they totally did lol (i wont lie and say I never did it either, even if it was not what I meant to do ex. rage quitting)

1v1 has been reset in the past, im 100% sure on that.

besides honestly I think it would encourage more people to play if they actually saw themselves gaining position more then once a month.

and honestly all i care about it qb games start when it comes back

it might discourgae people who have played previously, as they would lose all of their progress from like years of playing LMAO

BUT!!!!!!!!!! ik it wont give me more cuz im like almost top 20 and which has been my goal for like a year and if people stop playing for just a little while they'll prob get knocked off of the top of the lb, which is really discouarging

or it means people wont stop playing which is what we want.

this is coming from someone who played since the start, I think the leaderboard is a lot more fun when its competitive and shifting a lot. And ur prob ez top 10 skill level so id expect you to get top 10 with a little effort if it resets anyway.
