I have had an idea. So, if you manage to find the Philosopher's Stone in the secret area in the roof, what to do with it? you could sell it, I've seen them sell for over 500g. but that's boring, a waste of a cool item for money you can get via other means. my idea, is what it's use is in other places; transmuting any metal into gold! you could simply take any metal in the game and turn it into gold. not a gold material, just money. it would have infinite use, as a little way to make extra money if you found this cool secret. Native metal would be worth 1g, refined worth 2g, and pure would be worth 3g.

We are going ahead and accepting this suggestion, as we agree that it would be good for it to have a use and not be just a collectable that you get. We have already planned for there to be a use for the philosophers stone in the future, as well as other possible items gained from side quests, so make sure you hang onto it!

Thank you for your suggestion, and apologies for the delayed update! After reviewing our on hold suggestions ahead of the 2.0 update, we have unfortunately decided that we will no longer be completing this suggestion.
This is primarily due to the fact that the collectable is a shard of the stone itself, intended as a collectable easter egg of the stories we all know and love. Whilst we have previously considered adding a purpose, we feel as though a shard wouldn't have the same power as the stone itself, and will therefore no longer be implementing these changes.
The team are also focused on the 2.0 update, which may change items rewarded from areas like the third floor corridor, meaning this shard may also be inaccessible to newer players once the update releases. This area is still under development though, so if you're interested in our 2.0 update progress you can check out our recent youtube videos for further information!
