On the 14th of May, a breaking news article was released, informing the public about an attack that happened on the Werewolves. Several of them from the Werewolf Shelter in Hogsend were found dead. Eyewitnesses immediately alerted the Ministry, which led to Auralock units being dispatched to further investigate the scene. They discovered that some of the deceased had wounds that appeared to have been inflicted by Inexcusable Curses and dark magic, as well as evidence of burnt pieces of dark cloth and a tattered dark hood. As for the Werewolves that survived the attack, they refused to leave the shelter, and eventually, the Auralocks cleared the building with force. Werewolf Alpha Kade Everard made a statement regarding the tragic event, threatening the Dark Followers if they were the ones behind it and saying that the Ministry's protection was a lie.
