Greetings witches and wizards!
The Academics Department is excited to announce a slight restructuring of our Arena and Academics teams. We have made the decision to merge the Class Helper and Arena Squire roles into one new role: the Academic Aide. This new role is responsible for helping in Arena activities and classes, along with assisting the teams with project ideas and lesson creation depending on their interest. Members of this role may show interest in only one side of the department, or have a primary team they work within, so they are not expected to have deep insight into both teams. This role can be promoted into either Jr. Professor or Arena Master, and if effort and dedication is shown, they may be promoted to both!
This also means that all Jr. Professors+ may be seen helping in Arena activities, and Arena Masters+ may also be seen helping in classes! Please keep in mind, members of either team may not have knowledge in both aspects, however you are welcome to ask them any questions you may have and they will be passed on to someone who does! Please note that this does not mean Professors will host Arena activities, nor will Arena Masters host classes, unless they hold a position on both teams.

Instead, we would like to encourage anyone interested in Academics or Arena to apply for the new Academic Aide application, found here! You do not need to be interested in both teams to become involved. Please reach out to the Academics Leadership Team with any questions.
