I personally would like a way to prepay for store item. Sometimes when limited items were on sell or a sale is happening, people i.e. me may not have an access to a payment method immediately. Another benefit I think will bring to the server is that as there is a way to buy prepay credits and use them later, people will not be turned down to buy stuff in non-sales periods.

I believe some popular major Minecraft servers have similar things implemented. A way that I think would be good to implement a prepay system is by some sort of “currency”. Users can save them up and use them whenever time they want to, and can gift other users store items with their credit balance. I personally would like a trading system between prepay currency, golds and in-game items. I believe it will facilitate store trades and make store trading more convenient. For example, rn to store trade someone has to trust the other trader (who most of the time is a stranger). I know that the PW community is nice and kind but I think it’s nice if there is a way to eliminate the chances of scams. Moreover, store trades require the traders to trade for a “whole store items” but can’t trade for just $1USD or two of the item.

I understand the concept of this idea, and think it's good, but how exactly would it work? Would there be a prepayment method that you can save for checking out whenever you can, or a way to 'preorder' for something? Many times, store releases aren't announced beforehand, and are only public once they actually are able to be bought, which is my only concern with this idea.

Another benefit I think will bring to the server is that as there is a way to buy prepay credits and use them later, people will not be turned down to buy stuff in non-sales periods.
This confuses me a bit. It may just be me, but it seems a bit complex.

My idea is create a currency that can be bought from store and then be exchanged for store items. For example, 1 USD = 100 "points" and then a cosmetic that's 5 USD will costs 500 "points" in normal period, while in sales, like a 30% off sale it will be lowered to 350 "points" instead. Then, players who use "points" to pay only have to use their payment method/ credit cards when purchasing "points" and just use their "points" balance to check out later. Basically it's pretty similar to something that a popular server whose name starts with H has implements LOLLLLL

Btw I know that Potter Points exist but it's mainly just for event winners and staff members etc., normal players can't really gain them so my idea has differences from current PP imo.

Thank you for bringing this idea up to us! We really appreciate community members bringing up their suggestions for improvements to the server <3

Unfortunately, however, we will be declining this one.
Overall, this does not follow our vision and goal for the store as a whole. All the money that is earned from the store is immediately invested into running the server, so creating a new currency would make that process more complicated.
Additionally, it would require a completely new change to store trades that accepts the new currency, being able to select any item that’s on the store through it, and changing its cost according to the sale. The number of resources it would take to create this would be challenging, as well as maintaining it.
Having a trading system that includes the suggested currency and gold would also go directly against the EULA, as real money cannot give any in-game advantages, so that is not something we want to do.
