The art giveaway changed their reward of 150 PP to a $1.50 gift card. Alone, $1.50 can buy nothing from the online store other than a free reset token. This means that the winners, who are chosen at random, would have to win more than once in the span of six months (the expiry date of the gift card), or they would have to spend their own money to purchase a reward for themseves. There's even a rule to prevent participants from winning more than once in a row (a fair rule that should not be changed), which means with maximum luck, someone can only earn a $4.50 reward from art giveaways before their prize expires.
Since the monthly art giveaways began, nobody has won twice within 6 months. Even within the past year, there were 12 unique winners.
The system of rewarding gift cards/coupons to winners may be beneficial to challenges that are based in skill, such as arena where they can work towards winning more rewards, but the random draws of the art challenges do not function the same way. No matter how often someone participates or how much work is put in, it's always a random chance of winning. This makes the $1.50 reward more wasteful, as the winning artists have worser odds of gaining more than $1.50 or they have to spend their own money. Even the store's monthly hidden coupon rewards $5, which is drastically more than the $1.50 that discord artists are rewarded for their win.
I suggest that this could be changed by one or more of the following:

I suggest that this could be changed by one or more of the following:
- Increasing the reward so it could actually be useful to buy items on the store, even if those items would only be wand effects or the cheapest hats. As mentioned before, $1.50 purchases nothing on the store.
- Removing the 6 month expiry date, so participants can gather enough of a reward to purchase an item without spending their own money on the store.
- Making more cheap store items, so that players can spend their rewards without having to gather multiple winnings.
- Reverting back to the potterpoint reward system that was being used before.
