I believe that CE events give too many collectables out which people are selling for unrealistically high prices. People have been abusing this since those started happening, I remember people joining the events with several accounts just to get more collectables. Now that we can buy an unlimited amount makes it even worse imo. I've just came back from CE and people are already trying to sell things for 4000% more gold. Yes, 40 times more expensive. People even sell some items from not even a month ago for over 30k, and a lot of them are staff members. That's just crazy considering most of the CE collectables just require you to be there, and pay 200 gold for an item at most. I think this really ruins the economy.

Idk because like the economy is already trash since you can’t sell gear materials anymore so like ce events and normal events sometimes boost it for a min but with no cap on the items you can buy in ce it’s so easy to abuse

Maybe make the items untradeable or bound to the player? Unsure if this could be fair or not since CE event collectables could somewhat be similar to the annual event collectables where players can sell stuff from previous events. If the CE event items are the same when they're hosted multiple times in a month, along with a cooldown so the same player can't buy the same item if they join a second CE event in that month, then I'm guessing this whole idea of trading CE event collectables should be fine?

I would put more value on the annual event collectables over the CE event collectables though. I haven't really gone to a CE event or really bothered to figure out what makes the items interesting, so that may be why.

I feel like the amount of Collectables in recent times also takes away from actually collecting the Collectables as they easily become hard to keep a track of and makes it a endless chore.

In my opinion it would be cool if they were bound or untradable, I don't think there is a way to solve peole pricing them for crazy high because the items aren't really that known so people think they're worth what people price them at. If they were bound, they would be like cool tokens you get for yourself since you attended. If you want them yourself, you should have to attend a CE, idk xd but ya I also agree there's a lot of them which is a bit unnecessary

On behalf of the Poltergeist team, I'd like to thank you again for creating this suggestion. I've come to inform you that the Leadership team has decided to decline this suggestion. While we understand the concerns, there is not much that we can change in terms of players selling items for a high price. We want CE and their collectables to be accessible for multiple players and time zones, but sometimes, a player can't attend. We still want those players to be able to receive the collectables and items given out during the community engagement events, either through their friends or through the market. We have, however, limited the amount of collectables players can get per CE, but we will not be able to intervene much further.
