Discord - Mentionable roles

Similar to how there is a Class Notify role to ping people when there is a class, I was thinking maybe a @News role, @Gameplay / @magic / @Updates role, and an @Announcements role to be pinged whenever there is a new message in one of the respective channels. This would obviously be completely optional and discord members could opt in or out of the role whenever they wish via bot commands
