As stated by Evux, it is not possible to purchase gold on the website. This is due to the fact that all Minecraft users (including servers) have to respect the End User License Agreement (EULA) which states in particular that it is forbidden to charge players in exchange for game altering or behaviour changing items or mechanics that gives them advantage over others who do not pay or may pay different amounts.​

Purchasing gold would be an example of this rule being broken since it can help you progress quicker than others on certain factors of the game. That said, there are multiple ways to earn gold in-game. For a complete list, I suggest that you do /faq the next time you're online and hover your mouse on the gold icon.​

Otherwise, you can take a look at the store which can be accessed at the top right of the website, or by typing /store in-game. There, you can purchase various cosmetics such as hats, pets, allegiances, emotes and so much more.​
