Hi how do I exactly link my Minecraft account in game? I don't know how

Whenever I try to join the potterworld server it just says We are unable to update your account history from Mojang please try again later

I have the Java version and I'm using the latest version

You need to use 1.10-1.12.2 if I'm correct Swapping versions prob fix it
