Hi, I would like to have some cross compatibility plugins added to the server that allowed for bedrock players to connect to the Java server. I think this would be good to add because some people do not have access to a computer, but they have access to their phone and play Minecraft on their phone. So, I do not believe we should stop the people who do not have access to a computer that plays Minecraft on their phone from being able to join the server and experience Harry Potter in Minecraft.

These are the plugins that would have to be added to the server for cross compatibility to be able to work.

I don't think it would be possible to play PW on phone to be honest. For instance how would you cast spells or scroll through the spell hotbar. I don't think there's a way to play older versions on bedrock as well. If it possible to get PW to work on bedrock then it would be great, I'm sure the server would see an abundance of new players but unfortunately I just don't think it's possible to do. I'm not an expert on bedrock though so take this with a grain of salt :)

I know how to address all the issues that you've brought up with making the server compatible with bedrock. Can I speak to you in a voice chat when you're available? That would make it easier for me to explain

Hi there @cool game !

Unfortunately, a similar suggestion to this one has been brought up previously and has been declined. This suggestion was about making the server compatible for Pocket Edition players (which is also Bedrock). We do not have any plans to make Potterworld available on the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft, as this would require a lot of changes to the server. You can view the full reason on the original thread; it explains why we have ultimately decided not to make the server compatible for the Bedrock Edition.

I will now be marking this thread as a duplicate. If you have any questions still, feel free to reach out as we are willing to answer any questions you may have! I hope you have a wonderful day!
