Greetings! We have some exciting news to share about the future of events on the server. There’s quite a bit to cover, so thank you for bearing with us!
Seasonal Event Hubs
We’re thrilled to introduce Seasonal Event Hubs! There will be four hubs in total, each rotating in and out throughout the year as their seasonal content becomes available.
These hubs are designed to serve as a central location where you can easily see which events are active during that season and when they’ll be available. From the hubs, you’ll be able to:
- View active and upcoming seasonal events
- Access vendors for currently running events
- Travel directly to any available event builds for that holiday
Event Gameplay Changes
Looking ahead, we plan to eventually allow players to travel to all previously used event spaces for a given holiday. For example, when the Valentine’s event is active, you’ll eventually be able to visit all past locations like the Enchanted Valley, Candyland, and more!
Our ultimate goal is to let you experience events in your favorite spaces. Don’t worry, though—we’ll still be updating events over time by adding new rewards, introducing repeatable quests, and making other improvements.
That said, there is a lot of older content to work through. All previous event content—including quests, rewards, and systems—is being completely remade and reimplemented. Because of this:
- Some quests may be removed or fully redesigned
- Others may return with only minor changes
We’ll also be removing main storylines from returning events. However, many one-time quests are being evaluated and may return in the future as repeatable versions.
One event will continue to feature brand-new storylines each year: Winter Waltz! We’re committed to delivering a brand-new wizarding school, complete with fresh stories and gameplay, for every Winter Waltz. By making other events more repeatable and easier to manage, we can fully focus on keeping Winter Waltz exciting and unique each year.
New Future Events
We’re also incredibly excited to share some early plans for brand-new recurring events. Our long-term goal is to have an event available every month of the year.
To make this possible, four brand-new events will be coming to Potterworld starting in 2027!
While we don’t have many details to share just yet, you’ll be able to catch a sneak peek of what’s coming when you visit the new Seasonal Event Hubs.
