Hello everyone!

The Scribe team is excited to release a new set of patch notes for the official PotterworldMC Wiki! This batch will cover the new pages and updates that have been implemented since our previous patch notes, over the last quarter. This is our third set of patch notes since we opened up wiki edits to all players. Want to see your name and edits up here in the future? Your edits can improve this wiki!

Before we officially start these patch notes, we also have an announcement to make. We want to inform the playerbase that with the transition to player edits on the wiki, we will unfortunately be disbanding the Scribe team and closing future Scribe team applications. We see this wiki working best when it is run by the players, and appreciate everyone who has contributed thus far. Anyone can provide any edits to the wiki, and we encourage players to add any important additions, and guides are permitted here too!

With the disbandment of the Scribe team, the Wizencouncil role will now moderate wiki edits to ensure they are appropriate. Thank you to all who are currently making wiki edits!

Several edits were made to already existing pages due to new server changes.

  • Included the Extra Credit Assignment Token and the AC Shop

  • This edit outlined a change to the Academics team classes helped in requirement

  • Introduced the AC Shop and the Academics Hall, as well as an Hours of Classes section with collectables

  • Added /spellpreset aliases
• Community Management
  • Now includes information about Curators and Expeditions
• Currency
  • Describes the change from Weekly Assignment Token to Extra Credit Assignment Token
• House Cup Winners
  • Added the June 2025 winner
• Magical Criminalist
  • Added trivia about the murder of Sophocles Cirrilo
• Spells List
  • Added Snow Stupificius, Rosecanto Enchantum, Halloween Propulso, and Butterbrew Immoblio to the Reskin Spells
• Weekly Assignment
  • Updated to inform the change to Extra Credit Assignment, and included the Extra Credit Assignment Token
