The Dark Followers broke into the new Phoenix base on January 30th, and the fight to prevent the Dark Followers traversing through the roots and tunnels underneath the Phoenix base occurred. The roots and tunnels supposedly led to a trapdoor at the bottom of the new Phoenix base that was located inside of the prison area. People were given the choice to side with the Phoenixes or the Dark Followers. Those who chose the Phoenixes were able to set up a variety of traps to stop the Dark Followers from reaching the prisons. As for the Dark Followers, they had to try to run to the end whilst avoiding each trap in order to retrieve the captured Dark Followers.

Once everyone reached the end, they were brought to an area near the Phoenix prisons. The Dark Followers soon realised that the Phoenixes didn’t have any of the Dark Follower’s members, which led to a fight breaking out between the Dark Hand and the Council of Cinders. In a turn of events, Dark Lord Noah Pendragon ended up casting "Paratolum Maxima'' at Flamekeeper Andreu, putting him in a paralysed state. After that, the Dark Hand managed to escape, leaving the Council of Cinders in a state of worry and grief for their fallen member.
