Instead of Scarlett giving detailed instructions, she should let you choose between instructions and teleporting.

I disagree with this, since very few people would actually choose the instructions. People would most likely want to get to the area quickly and not be interested in learning how to get there. Having Scarlett give you instructions means that you can learn your way around - and I would definitely recommend learning your way around since it helps you feel so much less lost. If Scarlett teleported you, most people wouldn’t bother learning how to get anywhere so they will not be able to explore the castle

So you agree? People prefer to be taken to these points, and the (while I believe it was unintentional) goal of the scarlett update was to force them into a situation where they have to learn the castle a certain way even though, if given the choice, they don't want to?
