Spell Idea: Shield Shatter

This is inspired by being spammed by @Death using the bomb spell, but sometimes when you shield it, it does damage through the shield. I think a cast time spell that breaks the shield on contact instead of reflecting and does an AOE in the range of the explosion would be cool.

I might be making this up but I think old version of reducto would break shields. Thats def a nice concept (rip my bubble tho)

This suggestion has unfortunately been declined. We will keep trying to find new ways to innovate and balance our dueling system, but breaking shields is a little overpowered. We have counter spells that goes through shields, Appareo that teleports through shields, and AoE spells that do damage through the shield as well, so in an overall there are already too many ways to go around shields rather than breaking them.

tbf i think a spell that broke shields wud be very underpowered for all the reasons u just listed
