Academics - Our Hard-Working Class Design Team
The Academics and Class Design teams worked together to release our updated Extra Credit Taskboard earlier this month! There have been a few small hiccups. However, everything should be running smoothly now! Thank you all for your patience during its release.
Our Class Designers have also been hard at work on quite a few upcoming projects! Keep an eye out for more information on these soon.
Now, here is a mini interview from Rani, a Sr. Class Designer, about the creation process for Automated Classes!
Rani: As we move closer to the release of 2.0, Miki and I have been working on creating Automated Classes for players to enjoy! I've been working behind the scenes on quests and events for years now, but starting Autoclasses has led me to discover so many new ways we can utilise our current systems. It's also been super fun learning to navigate 2.0 exclusive tech, even if it has confused me and led to many private messages to Miki when I've somehow managed to break something!
The main focus of Autoclasses is to help teach new and returning players about how aspects of Potterworld have changed. You can think of them like mini tutorials almost. I've been specifically working on the Interconnected Systems for professions, starting with Potions and Herbology, so my classes aim to guide players through possible situations they may encounter while engaging with the professions.
It's been hard to try and find the right balance between explaining how something works while maintaining the "Show, Don’t Tell" design pillar, but I feel like I'm getting there.
We have a wide range of autoclasses planned for the future! As a little sneak peek, I'll also be working on the Care of Magical Creatures and Magical Cuisine Automated Classes, so look out for those!
Media - Mischief, New Video Releases, and Model Making

We are currently working on our August store release. Without revealing too much, this release will be perfect for any student who has some mischief to be managed!
Our WizNetworker team also released two new short-form videos this month. Be sure to check them out here and here!
The 2D Arithmancers have been working on requests for the upcoming store release. Our Skin Arithmancers have also continued working on skins for upcoming events.
The Artworker team has continued going strong with their model making, creating heaps of 3D models for Potterworld 2.0, as well as some for events and the store!
We rotated our seasonal items NPC Neil Lodge in the In-Game Store to display some of our autumn-themed cosmetics. Be sure to check them out to prepare for autumn!
