Looking to the Future with Droobledore
Feature
Written by Silquer
Edited by maddinq

Hello dear readers, and welcome to the sixty-first issue of the Daily Diviner! As Potterworld nears its 8th anniversary, the server begins reflecting on its history. Eight years is a long time, full of evolution and great experiences. Thankfully, I’m not alone in thinking about the server’s past as I had the honour of interviewing our Headmaster, Droobledore, about his thoughts and opinions of the server eight years in. Here was my conversation with him:

Coming up on the 8th anniversary of Potterworld, how does it feel to have reached such a great milestone?
Droobledore: Honestly, it feels unbelievable, I never believed this side project would last this long. I am truly honoured and grateful we have all come this far!

Potterworld has been around for a very long time now! It’s incredible to be a part of this community and to have the opportunity to look back several years ago. I can only imagine what it feels like to have founded the server!

Potterworld has had several different eras, such as pre-Revelius and post-Revelius. What’s been your favourite era of Potterworld?
This answer is a bit of a double-edged sword, as with any project, the beginning is always the most exciting because there is literally nothing but "blue skies". Anything seems possible and everything sounds exciting. The flip side is that in those early days we had very limited resources and couldn't execute most of our ideas.

There have been so many updates and changes to the server recently. What has been your vision for the Potterworld of the future? How has this changed from the past?
I'm not sure this is an easy one to answer, my vision for the future will be detailed in the Systems Blogs that will be coming out, so look for those soon! In terms of how my vision has changed, it really comes down to what our capabilities are. The more we learn we can do the more the evolution of PW's future changes.

That evolution is certainly noticeable! Potterworld has become more and more advanced in gameplay, and the capabilities of the server are always growing with new staff and community members to spread ideas and push for change. Recently, Potterworld has elevated further beyond anything players could hope for, with Revelius two years ago and now the Guilds update.

Obviously there is always room for growth, but what is your current opinion of Potterworld? What are you satisfied with, and how is the server going to continue to expand in gameplay?
As always, we can always improve. Because I am content with something doesn't mean I don't want to keep pushing it. The same goes with PW. I always see areas we can improve, but change is a slow and steady race. I wish I could snap my fingers and everything that isn't working would just go away and everything I wanted was there, but alas, it isn't so simple. So, as always we slowly push on.

With eight years behind it, Potterworld has quite the history behind it. What, in your opinion, is Potterworld’s greatest legacy?
Easily the community (which includes the staff). For the most part, we have been able to create a community that cares so deeply about this server when you can see so much toxicity and hostility in other games. My hope is that we never lose this!

Potterworld’s community is truly spectacular, a perfect melting pot of different kinds of people who get to share their passions in an amazing and kind space. I’m sure we can all agree with Droobledore that the community is not something we will easily forget!

What do you want Potterworld to be remembered for in another eight years?
What I would love is for PW to properly form into a fully functioning "proper game". Where even without manual interaction (classes, tournaments, etc.) a player can actually play the game all the way through without relying on some external person (staff) to help them reach the end. Only then will PW actually be a true functioning game. - I would love to bring new people onto the server! Expanding our family!

It would be a dream come true to see Potterworld grow like this in the future. As you all know, Potterworld is a fantastic community, and being able to look back with the founding headmaster has been a treat. A big thank you to Droobledore for taking the time to answer these questions! With all of this and more on the horizon, be sure to stay tuned for Potterworld’s bright future!

May the 4th

Hello lovely readers, and welcome back to the Editorial section of the Daily Diviner! Today we will be discussing Potterworld’s May the 4th event. This event is hosted every year by the Magiventologists; while it always revolves around the same theme, there is something new and different about it each time, making it an exciting and novel experience! My hopes for the event were that we’d go someplace new and travel across the galaxy, and these were greatly covered in this event. To begin your journey to hyperspace, speak to Kevin the Hutt at the Great Hall.

The beginning quest was a fun way to introduce the event and get players excited to start exploring. For the quest, players spoke to Kevin the Hutt, who told them that he’d lost his pouch. Players were sent to speak to Kevin’s friend Jayoda by the boathouse to get some information. They then learned that the pouch was left at Ohana’s Cantina on the planet Batuix. Once the pouch was retrieved and returned to Kevin, players were able to jump into hyperspace and explore the galaxy. Players can travel to the planets Batuix, Enmor, Illius, Narrano, and Toussine, each with its own special features!

Batuix is the main event hub. Here you can find two more quests plus two daily quests, which can be completed every twelve hours. Each daily quest gives Star Tokens and Baskir. Baskir can be used on Narrano to make Baskir armor. On Batuix there is an NPC that has a dropper and two mazes that you can complete to get Star Tokens. On the planet Enmor, you can play Star Battle: FFA. In /games you can also play Star Battle: Escort Payload and Domination. The Star Battle games will rotate daily, so make sure to play them when you get the chance! You can also play Star Racing throughout the entire event. I am really looking forward to playing Star Battle: Escort Payload, as it is really fun. It is one of my favorite games!

The rewards that you can collect are toy guns, scarves, pets, hats, and more. You can also purchase materials to make Plasma Blades at the Plasma Blade Workshop! Each collectable and material costs Star Tokens. I am personally excited to get the Master’s Hood Hat, as it will go great with my Master Jedi skin!

In conclusion, this event is amazing. There’s a lot to do and it is so interesting to explore! The rewards are wonderful, and I can’t wait to make a Plasma Blade of my own. The event ends June 4th, so make sure to check it out before then. I hope that you enjoy your time traversing the vast galaxy! This has been ivyronincheez reporting for the Daily Diviner.

A New Pitch
Editorial
Written by ohKeira
Edited by maddinq

Hello readers! Today we will be going over the return of one of the largest minigames on Potterworld. What could that be? Here is a hint, it was added back to /games on April 11th. If you guessed Quabbleball, you are absolutely correct! Around a month ago, one of Potterworld’s most popular games was re-added after going through a large update phase to improve its overall mechanics. In this article I will explain what Quabbleball is, what changes were made, and my own opinions on these changes. I suggest doing /games on the server to try playing the game for yourself!

Before we fly deep into the history of this unique game, some newer players might be wondering, what even is Quabbleball? That is a great question! Quabbleball is a fast-paced team game that requires communication and skill. You must work with your team to score and defend goals, as well as try to catch the special Swippet for extra points to win the game. The way you win is pretty self explanatory; earn the most points for your team! Whether this be in scoring goals or catching the Swippet, there are various different ways to take home the gold for your team.

Even though Quabbleball was away for several months, it didn’t disappoint when it came back in the loop. At the surface it might not look that different, but the seasoned player may notice a few changes that were made to the overall gameplay. Let’s go over each position that received new additions this revamp.

Firstly, the position that defends the goal, Defender, was completely reworked. Rather than having to aim at the goal they want to block, there is a dropkey menu that can be used to choose either the right, left, or center one. As well as having to point where they wanted to block the goal, the defenders used to be able to pick up the quabble off the ground without flying. This was opted for an alternative where you must be on your broom to pick up the quabble. Another smaller change made to the position is that you can’t hold the quabbleball for more than seven seconds, so be sure to be extra quick when passing the ball to your teammates!

Another position that had a lot of revamp done was the Bruiser. One change that many players requested was for Bruisers to not be able to hit their own teammates, as this was impractical and rather annoying when trying to hit the enemy team. Thankfully, it was finally implemented! Not only can they not hit their teammates anymore, but they were reasonably nerfed so that now, the Bruisers’ knockout spell cooldown lasts a second longer.

Although the Searcher position didn’t receive any modifications, the main scoring position, Passer, got a minor change of its own! Instead of having a three block reach for the quabble, Passers now can reach up to five blocks. This makes it a lot smoother when trying to steal the ball from the other team. Along with this, there were also a few bug fixes to help the game run smoother overall! If you want to see more of them, you can check out this forum post.

Now that we have gone over all the Quabbleball’s updates, there is a lot to digest about what changed! I personally think that all of the tweaks made to the game, no matter how small they were, really improved on the experience. I especially love that Defender got a lot more attention, since I used to avoid playing Defender for the reason that it was so complex. The dropkey menu seems like a much more efficient and reliable way to block any shots coming your way. Another change that I think benefited the game was not being able to hit your own teammates as a Bruiser. I felt it was frustrating when I was trying to aim my spell that there was a chance I was putting my own team at risk of losing the ball. With this change to the position, now I can be worry-free when trying to stop the other team from reaching my end of the field.

While Quabbleball was gone for a good amount of time, it blew everyone away with a great return. I hope the game continues to improve and grow from the idea it started out with, but what do you think? What do you want to see in the next update to this ever expanding game? As always, please stay safe and healthy. Go try Quabbleball out for yourself with /games on the server and see what you think of the new changes. This is Keira, signing off!

Priceless Money-Making Tips!
Student Spotlight
Written by Silquer
Edited by bluecherub

Hello dear readers, and welcome to the Student Spotlight column! Gold is one of the most sought after things on Potterworld. It is important in all aspects of the server, from events to trading to housings! However, it can be daunting for both new players and old to earn gold. Where does one even begin? There are so many options, and it requires much dedication to gain a stable income. One such player has conquered these doubts and risen above and beyond many others. I had the pleasure of interviewing this player, ColaCinema, about his rise to wealth on Potterworld.

Earning gold is an incredibly important part of Potterworld, as most players would agree, but a large percentage of new and old players alike don’t have a lot. How much gold do you actually have? What has been your peak?
Currently, my gold balance is 3.7 million, which is the most I've ever owned.

That is an incredible amount! Most players never reach anywhere near that peak, nor would ever dream to. For new players especially, this can be terribly intimidating news. How will they ever achieve such vast wealth? Thankfully, ColaCinema has more insights for us.

It certainly takes a lot of dedication to get to the amount of gold that you have. How long have you been playing on Potterworld, and how long has it taken for you to gain this much gold?
I've played Potterworld for almost 2 years with some breaks in between. It took me 8 months to reach the first million gold and another 3 months to reach the second million, and another 3 months exactly to reach the third million gold.

What drove you to achieve this, and how do you maintain it?
I never had the intent to get this amount of gold. But while playing with a friend on the server, we couldn't kill the Boomslangs and had no money to repair or upgrade our gear, so I explored Hogsend and found hidden chests with Boomslang Venom in them, so I started selling those to players, and it helped so many players that I started selling more items that could help players with their quests. As a result, my shop thrived and is something I continue to do to this day!

As ColaCinema mentioned, selling items through shops is an important part of earning money. Supply and demand is the fastest way to gain gold, and it takes a keen player to build a shop of items just waiting to be sold. The chests themselves also offer gold upon discovery, so chest runs are another valuable method of earning gold.

There are a lot of ways to get gold on the server, from minigames to selling items in shops. How did you personally gain the gold that you have now?
The majority of my gold comes from selling items in my shop, playing minigames such as Hide and Seek and completing my daily activities, going to class and getting tokens in events.

These are all very useful methods of earning gold, and are all easily accessible to every player. It just takes dedication!

All types of players are always searching for ways to increase their gold reserves. Do you have any advice or methods you would share with players, new and old alike?
Attending classes and converting the AC into gold, as well as going to events and playing the minigames, made me a good deal of gold. If these aren't available, I enjoy minigames, chest runs or killing mobs. There is always an opportunity to earn some gold.

That concludes this interview! A large thanks to ColaCinema for taking the time to give some insight into his gold and money-making processes. I advise taking his advice and methods to heart, dear readers, and earning as much gold as possible! I wish you luck in your endeavors, and have a wonderful day!

Do you know anyone on the server that stands out (cool housing, a museum, active in RP, do something cool outside of PW, etc.)? Nominate them here for a chance to be our next Student Spotlight!

Yummy Time Strawberries
Lifestyle
Written by ivyronincheese
Edited by bluecherub

Hello lovely readers and welcome back to the Lifestyle column of the Daily Diviner. Since May is National Strawberry Month, I have several delectable strawberry-themed recipes for you all! If you think all strawberries are the same, you might be surprised to learn that there are hundreds of varieties of strawberries! Let’s go ahead and dive into our first recipe.

Our first recipe is something new that I would love to try: strawberry avocado spinach salad with poppyseed dressing. This special strawberry salad is especially delicious and very quick and easy to make. It is also customizable; you can exchange the strawberries for something more to your taste, like raspberries or blackberries. The poppyseed dressing can also be swapped out with a different type of dressing, whether it be a vinaigrette or caesar or italian. The strawberry avocado spinach salad is full of fantastic fresh flavors which will be sure to excite your tastebuds this National Strawberry Month.

To make the strawberry avocado spinach salad, you will need 1/2 a package of strawberries, fresh spinach, 1 avocado and poppyseed dressing from whichever brand you prefer (or homemade if you have your own recipe)! To begin, cut into the avocado and throw out the pit. After slicing the meat of the avocado, set it aside. Then take out the strawberries, wash them thoroughly, and dice them until you have enough to satisfy your strawberry salad hunger! Run the spinach under the faucet to get rid of any chemicals from the grocer’s before you put it into your salad bowl. If you want to spice things up, you can sprinkle in a handful of your favorite nuts. My personal favorite are walnuts, so I put those in followed by the strawberries, avocado and poppyseed dressing, and voila! You have yourself a scrumptious strawberry salad to sate your hunger.

The second recipe I have to offer is something that is completely new to me, called strawberry butter. Now I know this recipe sounds a little weird, but I assure you it is nice, sweet and creamy. You can spread this blush pink butter over muffins or buttermilk pancakes, and it serves as an excellent replacement for the usual table butter.

Although it sounds strange, the recipe for strawberry butter is quite simple. Using 1 stick of butter and 1/2 a package of strawberries, you will soon have a finely whipped spread worthy of the most delectable delights! First, soften the butter for an hour or two by leaving it out on the counter. Then, wash the strawberries and slice them lengthwise after taking out the stems. For the next bit, you will need to take out your blender. After putting both the strawberries and the softened butter into the bowl, blend on a low speed until the strawberry chunks are not visible and the butter is a rosy pink color. Then you can take out your strawberry butter and store it in your favorite butter container!

Thank you for reading over our strawberry-themed recipes! Which recipe will you try out? Which one sounds the best to you? When strawberries come into season, it will be the perfect time to find a cookbook and see what kinds of other recipes you can try out that we did not mention. This has been ivyronincheez reporting for the Daily Diviner.

The Result of April Showers
Lifestyle
Written by bea_5OOOO
Edited by Compost_King

Hello lovely readers and welcome back to the Daily Diviner! The month of May is known for many things, including flowers. Potterworld itself holds many wonderful flowers and other plants across the map, used in potions, herbology or other decorative and fun activities. Today I will be highlighting some of these flowers you can find across the server.

Lily Of the Valleys’
One of the beautiful flowers found on Potterworld, (more specifically found in a small flower shop in Hogsend!) is a flower called Lily of the Valley. One exciting fact about the Lily Of the Valley is that it is actually May’s monthly flower! This flower has a larger green stem, with multiple tiny white bell shaped flowers. Lily’s Of the Valleys also symbolise both happiness and purity. However, it should be considered that this flower is not all joy, as it is also poisonous to both humans and animals.

Blue Orchids
Another flower found at the same Hogsend flower shop are Blue Orchids. While Blue Orchids are a minecraft specialty of flower, orchids are a family of flowers! In fact, orchids are the second largest family of flowers! Orchids are a long stemmed plant, with a large circular shaped flower, and a smaller bulb in the centre of the flower. One fun fact about orchids is that they are actually symmetrical! Orchids also have a lovely meaning behind them, as they symbolise love and beauty.

Homemade Allium, Oxeye Daisy and Lilac Bouquet
A list of flowers found across Potterworld isn’t complete without some sort of bouquet you can piece together! A homemade bouquet I will be teaching you how to make is one made out of alliums, oxeye daisies, and lilacs. All three of these flowers can be found at the flower shop located in Hogsend. This bouquet is the perfect mix of symbolism due to the oxeye daisy’s representation of patience, the lilacs' representation of tranquility and the alimun’s meaning of good fortune!

In order to make the bouquet, purchase multiple of each flower, try to get an equal amount of alliums and oxeye daisies, and slightly more lilacs. Next take a colourful sheet of paper, and place in the alliums and oxeye daisies. Make sure to evenly space out the two flower types! After that place the lilacs in between the other two flower types. Finish off by wrapping up the paper around the bouquet. (To add an additional aesthetic touch, ribbon or string can be used to tie a bow around the bouquet.)

Overall there are plenty of wonderful flowers all across Potterworld waiting to be discovered. I challenge you to go out and find more flowers all across the map and even try to make your own bouquet! Like always, thank you for stopping by the Daily Diviner lifestyle and have a beautiful start to your week.

Power Outage
Original Works

Sam had been standing up all day. Why didn’t elevators have seats? Showers could have them, so why not elevators?

A school visited the library today. Sam had known about it for weeks, but he didn’t prepare more than normal. He interacted with kids everyday. It was fun to help them find new books, but sixty of them at once? Not fun.

As the elevator opened its doors, Sam dragged his feet to his apartment. He swung the door open with relief. Home at last. He managed to set his keys down before the lights flickered out.

Was this a joke? He was meant to come home and relax!

He began fumbling around for the hat stand. Even with no lights, there’s no excuse to wear a coat inside. After he found it, his pride fuelled his path to the kitchen. He tripped over the rug a little, but he eventually arrived.

Sam found the cupboard with ease and pulled out a candle and a matchbox. He carefully flicked the match and lit the wick. His eyes adjusted as the room lit up.

Like a slap to the face, he realized Julio should be home. His boyfriend got off work before him. Sam cursed his forgetfulness.

“Julio, are you home?” he called out. He made his way to the living room, using the weak flame for light. No response.

He said a bit louder, “Julio? Sweetheart?”

The apartment fell back into silence. This wasn’t right.

He made his way to the bedroom. There wasn’t much else to search. As he opened the door, the lights decided it was time to turn back on.

There he was, sat upon the bed.

“Um–”

“Julio?”

Julio stared back with wide eyes. “I can explain.”

Sam furrowed his eyebrows. There wasn’t really anything to explain, but he let him continue.

“I’ve been here since you got home, but then the lights went out and… I don’t know. I froze up.” He sighed. “I wanted to talk to you about this important thing, but…”

Concerned, Sam blew out the candle and sat down. “Do you want to talk about it now that you’re unfrozen?”

“I- well-”

The room went quiet. Sam reached for his boyfriend’s hand, ready to wait as long as Julio needed.

“I’m a wizard!” Julio blurted after a few minutes.

For a second, Sam was still.

“What?”

And the lights went out.

Before Sam could even register the lights were gone, Julio started rambling.

“I know it sounds crazy! I know you don’t really believe in magic,” Sam did believe in the possibility of magic. “but I really promise it’s true.

“I was born into an unmagical– a normal family,” he rambled on. “Most kids raised up in the unmagical world don’t even know they’re a wizard, so when I got my letter from Hogsworth – that’s the magic school, by the way – I was freaked out. My parents were super excited – you know them, of course they would be – but I was so out of place!

“When you’re a kid with magic, you don’t really have control of it, I guess. When the letter told me I was magical, I felt terrible. I mean, all my life I thought I was just unlucky. Things around me broke constantly, impossible things happened right in front of me, and I just – I realized that it was all my fault.” He paused to sniffle and Sam weakened when he saw the tears in Julio’s eyes.

“I couldn’t stop myself from falling in love with magic when I started going to Hogsworth. Everything felt right. It was like everything in my life made sense for once. Whenever I thought of my parents though, I felt guilty for leaving them back at home. My bad luck followed me – I never managed to make friends throughout all of school, but I got along great with the magical creatures we’d meet in class.”

Sam’s head was swirling. Julio didn’t give him a second to process a thing. He didn’t mind, though. As long as Julio could get out the things he needed to, he’d ask questions later.

Julio went on, “I’ve felt so horrible. I feel like a horrible boyfriend. I told you when we met that I’m a vet – I guess that’s not wrong but, it’s not with normal animals. I’m a magizoologist – a magic zoologist – with an emphasis on medical magic – magic that heals others – so I actually treat magical animals, and not, like, dogs or something.

“I just – I feel so awful for lying to you! We’ve been together for two years. I thought I’d muster up the courage to tell you before we moved in together, but then we did, and I hadn’t, so I thought, ‘I’ll tell him next time!’ and that obviously didn’t work out! The next chance was always the wrong one, and it just kept on going and going and going!”

Julio was hiding in his hands now. “I’m really sorry, Sammy. I just– it’s okay if you hate me, or if you think I’m a freak, or you don’t believe me, or–”

That was enough. Sam cut him off with a hug. Julio became still in his embrace.

“Sweetheart,” he soothed. “It’s okay. I mean, I don’t really understand everything, but it’s okay.” Julio peeked up at him as he went on, “I love you. That’s the important part, okay? I trust you. That’s what matters.”

Julio settled, the anxiety seeming to have left his body, and wrapped his arms around Sam. They had a lot to figure out, but they had each other. That’s all they needed.

Learning to Make Amends: One Apology at a Time
Original Works

“Quills down!” Finally, an end to the gruelling exam.

Tyler’s glad the exam is over. With questions so confusing it felt like they were asking a dog to recite the multiplication table, at one point he could have sworn the girl next to him started to sob.

He slung his bag over his shoulder, shoving past a few classmates as he exited.

“Watch out next time!” Tyler called back as he stepped into the hallway, running into a smaller figure.

The pair fell to the ground with a thud. Tyler scrambled to his feet, yelling at the figure, “How dare you! Can you not see where you’re going?”

“How big is this boy’s head?” The house elf he ran into mumbled as they stood up. “Does he really think everything is the fault of others?”

“I-, well…,”

The elf paid no mind to Tyler’s attempts at a response and picked up their dropped trays before scurrying off. Tyler watched them fade from sight.

After the elf disappeared, Tyler continued towards the Griffin common room. He twisted past crowds of students as he approached his dorm. All the while, his last encounter replayed in his head. On one hand, Tyler argued that the elf had no reason to be downright rude.

But Tyler has done some nasty things, too. A voice in the back of his mind spoke up. Especially towards the girl from Potions last year.

Tyler paused, clutching his head. “Now is not the time to rethink all of my decisions. First, I’m going to return in peace, then I can tell Reid all about this.”

And that’s exactly what Tyler did.

He marched into the Griffin common room and without warning, grabbed his friend and forced him down on a couch. From there, Tyler told Reid everything. He could barely register what he was describing as his cruel actions alongside his regret clouded his mind.

Reid sighed when Tyler finished. “What’re you going to do about it then?”

“What do you mean?”

“I mean, we both know your attitude is complete garbage, and you haven’t been the nicest to anyone; what’re you going to do to make it up to people?”

He paused. Even Reid, Tyler’s best friend, admitted his awful behaviour. Tyler had to think of something smart, otherwise he would forever be a cruel jerk.

Then it hit him, “I could start by helping the elf out with their work tomorrow morning!”

➳➳➳

The next morning, Tyler climbed out of bed at the crack of dawn, carefully sneaking through his dorm and out the door.

He’s doing it! He’s making it up to this house elf whether he likes it or not!

Tyler crept down the stairs towards the kitchen. Upon entering the room, he realised just how many house elves were in the school.

Some carried dishes across the kitchen; others called out commands to others while they chopped away at food. How could Tyler expect to find the elf he had foolishly wronged among such a throng?

“You!” Maybe fate had decided to spare Tyler the pain of searching. The elf from yesterday made their way to Tyler, holding out a rolling pin. “What do you want?”

“I came to apologise.” The words felt foreign on his tongue. “It was wrong of me to say those nasty things yesterday. To make things up to you, I thought I could help you work this morning.”

“Very well. Follow me, you can help by washing dishes while we finish making breakfast.”

The elf weaved around the kitchen at an alarmingly fast pace, forcing Tyler to half-jog to keep up. Eventually, the pair reached a sky-high pile of dishes next to a small sink.

Tyler gasped, staring up at the pile.

“You said you would help, didn’t you?”

“Right! Yes, sir!” Tyler nodded, picking up a pan and running it under hot water.

For a while, things were silent as they scrubbed the countless dishes. Eventually the elf spoke up, “What convinced you to come down and help? I know you apologised already, but why?”

Tyler paused. Why was he doing all this?

“I guess I thought that words weren’t enough,” he finally responded. “It’s one thing for me to just admit I was a jerk, and believe me, I was. But actually trying to make up for it is completely different.”

The two fell into lighter conversation as they cleaned. Tyler learned that the elves were constantly doing work around the castle which the students almost never noticed. By the time the two were done, a new, happier feeling filled Tyler’s chest.

“Thanks for your help Tyler!” The elf said, showing him towards the exit. “Come back soon, alright? We might even have some extra food then!” They added as an afterthought.

“Will do!” Tyler waved as he rushed towards the Great Hall for breakfast.

He sat next to Reid who made no comment as he piled food on his plate.

The girl next to him sighed as she opened up a Potions textbook, her hands shaking.

“Are you alright?” Tyler asked.

“I’m fine, just nervous about this upcoming potions exam! I think I’m going to completely and utterly bomb it.”

“I can help you study for it,” Tyler offered. “It might help you remember things better with another set of hands helping you review.”

“That would be lovely.”

And that’s exactly what Tyler did.
