Hello readers and welcome to The Weekly Owl! Our exclusive article today covers another reported death in similar fashion to those we’ve seen from the non magical vampire hunting group known as S.T.A.K.E.s.

Reports first came in during the late hours of August 12th, numerous residents within West Walden reporting seeing 3 individuals trespassing on the scene. Witnesses claim the group to consist of two men, both with darker hair, and a woman spotting auburn hair. Officers handling the case say they are looking into possible suspects yet have found nothing conclusive yet concerning their identities. The victim in question was 64 year old Loraine Mitspell, a vampire working within Warpkey offices under the Department of Transportation. Her co-workers told Weekly Owl Reporters that she had stayed late to finalise some deadlines given to her a week before.

When asked about the specifics about the death, the leading Auralock on the scene, Shamus Mccarthy, had this to say:

“We suspect that the victim arrived home to the people responsible already within her home. Entering via the upstairs kitchen window then making their way upstairs to the small bathroom. They’d left a mess in their path, knocking over items and shifting furniture in the process, sloppy for a supposed group of organised killers if you ask me. We then believe the killers filled up the victim’s bathtub, then added a bottle of blessed water to it. Once the victim got home, they proceeded to, ya’know.”

The Auralocks on the scene urge people to remain calm during this time and advise contacting to set up wards and protection spells on magical homes that might be at risk. The Ministry assures the public that a formal plan and response is underway and to leave it in their hands.

As of now, the culprits remain unfound, the repeated deaths have caused the magical folk to begin worrying for their friends and family afflicted with the vampiric blood curse. We at The Weekly Owl express our deepest condolences with the Mitspell family and hope this string of events will come to close soon.
