Created in October of 2020, the WizNewsletter serves as a way for students and staff to recap on the month's updates. WizNetworkers spend countless hours researching, writing, editing, and implementing each section so that the happenings of the wizarding world do not go unnoticed. The 3D Arithmancer, WizNetworker, and Grounds Keeper applications have all closed, thank you to all of those who applied! Skin Arithmancer applications have opened, so if you're interested in making skins for the server, we encourage you to apply! Be sure to also check out our other open applications.

SERVER ANNOUNCEMENTSPW-tober 2021 encouraged artists of all types to submit their work based on 31 predetermined prompts spread across the month of October, like Choco Frogs, Zombie, or Graveyard. Each day you could submit one entry in the Art Discord's #pw-tober channel, based on the prompt of the day, to earn one entry into the PW-tober Raffle. On November 1st, one winner will be chosen from the raffle and can choose between a Pet Ghost OR a Jack-o'-Lantern mask as their prize!
The season of spook has brought us several new store releases! These include the Pumpkin Death Effects, Witch‘s Broom, and the Devil‘s Pitchfork wand! Some older seasonal items have also made a return. Additionally, the store launched its Spooky Sale with 40% off all store items until November 1st, so be sure to grab all your favorite tricks and treats before the sale ends!
GAMEPLAY UPDATES
We are proud to present our 2021 Halloween Event: Return to the Haunted Hollow! This new event brings us new and exciting quests, spine-chilling activities, and unique rewards! Feel free to take some time to explore the Haunted Hollow, as you never know what werewolf, ghoul, or other spooky inhabitants will need your help next. Talk to the Kevin NPC outside of the Great Hall to join in on the fun. The celebration will end on November 13th, so make sure not to miss out on the festivities!
COMMUNITY UPDATESThe Inquisitor team hosted wonderfully spook-tacular Community Engagement events to celebrate the spooky season! During the events, players had to solve a puzzling murder mystery, and finished it off with a spine-chilling movie. We can't wait for next month's Community Engagement events!
After another month of exciting tournaments, our October 2021 3v3 winners have revealed themselves! A huge congratulations to our Flying Tournament Winners STREETRATTILLY, Shadyobster56 & STREETRATLIYLV3! Let's not forget our Dueling Tournament Winners STREETRATTILLY, Bastaii, and Expiroces! Keep up the great work; we can't wait to see more of your performances in the future!
With the spooky season's arrival to Potterworld, the community was presented with our 2021 Halloween competitions! These allowed the community to partake in two different categories: skin-creating and building. The Skin Competition had two categories within itself: Halloween Costumes and Autumn/October. Likewise, the Build Competition had two subcategories: Spooky/Halloween and Autumn/October! The competition has been closed, and the winners and runner-ups will be announced soon. Thank you for all of your creative submissions, and we can't wait to see what you all do in future competitions!
