I love how technology integration with magic works nowadays.

Maren Highwell-Krum was playing an online game called "Sims" and had a pregnant character. They made bets on how many babies and what genders each baby will be, and I had bet 10 gold on twins with both genders. I ended up earning 5,010 gold from that betting pool for being exact in my predictions. Maren gave me my winnings after I finished helping Mrs. Longcaster out at her inn.

This happened a couple of days ago, including an expected class at 11pm with Professor Tara for Potions. More academic credit!

I bumped into Cannabclaus that day as well as I passed through a market at Diagonal Lane. He looked awfully familiar... like an interesting Potions professor... he had a raven named Lilly Snape... Snape... where have I heard that name before? Anyway, he was the person following me and If the day before during Flying class, which was a whole whirlwind of glitches in itself.

Before I spam multiple messages by accident again, I'm just gonna jot down quick notes and update this [ic] portion of the blog whenever I'm able to. So much is happening in my gameplay that I wish to note-take lots of things!

Also, thank you all for accepting me as a bigender being!

Quick update while I help Mrs. Longcaster at her inn - I found out so many people tonight, including Ozzie, are non-binary like me! Or rather, in different terms of non-binary. :D #LoveGenderQueers We had a great group chat on gender norms and what our sense of normality is. I didn't think so many people would be like me! I feel very inclusive in this town.

I'm going to stay in here for as long as I can at Hogsworth, and even after graduation, sticking around!

A couple of evening ago, during Flying Class with me and Honey (or what was supposed to be Transfiguration but all the classes got replaced today), I somehow clipped to the backrooms of the wizarding world.

Has anyone ever heard of the mundane world's folklore of the backrooms? It's creepy.

Professor Cangie Cane came over, and I asked here "Where am I?"

All she could do was look back and forth and shrug, replying with, "Good question.":ROFLMAO:

Taking classes during Thanksgiving week has been a blessing in disguise. I powered through Year 2 quests and am currently labeled as a 3rd Year student at Hogsworth. I love that we get to do "quests" to pass our Year assignments here.

However, during a quest, I had trouble jumping over magical objects to get to a broken part of a train that a conductor needed my help for. Luckily, the people there were kind enough to let me leave momentarily as I gathered my bearings. I nearly shed tears of frustration at the level of parkouring I had to do.

Luckily, a few class helpers around today has helped me realize I don't need to ever help everyone in order to obtain my Year assignments. I just have to do what I can to achieve my magical levels so I can someday graduate.

There is a class helper named Ozzie who's helped me a second time today in finding a missing scarf for an adult who took the Knight Bus. The first time he helped me was a few days ago when I had trouble connecting to a Magical Creatures Studies class during note-taking time. He's a really cool guy!

More of my friends are enrolling into Hogsworth! RJ got in as a Raven (expected as such), and they joked that they would be the Raven student with a constant remembrall in their hand. With their quick wit, I expect RJ to excell well in Hogsworth, though they swore never to go to live classes planned in the calendar, but rather whatever is scheduled in their class planner for mandatory classes to pass Year quests.

Star is coming soon, though they had technological issues interfering with the magic. I'm curious as to which House they'll be in.

Progress is going good at my housing unit! I'm creating a boxy kind of unique hourglass, with a diving board at the top to fall into the water.

Today is Thanksgiving in North America, or the United States in particular, and I just finished my first weekly assignment. I'll be teleporting through several fireplaces to get back home to my family in time for dinner. I don't mind teleporting back and forth from school so rapidly because I used to travel like this with my family. I hear my mother is cooking and my father is washing things in the sink to help her, as she is ill. I wonder what my older brother is doing - will he be with his college mates or come home?

So some people are probably wondering how I'm friends with some people already admitting into the school: If, Honey, Devil, and Dragon. Interesting names of interesting people, are they not?

Then again... my name is Nikka.

I won't tell you their journeys, so I'll tell you from my perspective of how I met this gang of misfits. We all met in a magical place where there were floating islands. It's very top secret and only certain individuals get to go there, so I felt very special in being accepted there! Despite being overprotective, my family let me wander around the magical area, and I've taken advantage of making several landmarks of my own. We kind of stumbled upon each other.

Maybe someday I can write more about my friends with their permission... unless they make blogs of their own? They never use much of the school stuff since coming here... then again, it seems like I'm one of the few using this forum blog for Hogsworth.o_O:geek:

Anyways, I'm going to see if I can power through my Year 2 studies. Honey is already on Year 3 studies and If had just gone to bed while I traveled around Hogsend.:sneaky::ROFLMAO: I also see some people needing help with their tasks, but I'd rather wait until later to see if maybe they need help from a more mature person? I feel like I'd just be in the way as a simple Hogsworth student.

Sorry for the spam on some people's feed on the forums. I got carried away with roleplaying blogs, but I was limited to several blog posts when I wanted all this to be compacted into one post. (Thus, the split of several posts popping up in the forum feed.)

Again - I'm sorry!

...I stumbled upon this dog while trying to figure out Tommy Riddle's riddle of the day. That student led me down to a trap of vines that attacked me until I casted a spell to land on the ground, running into another room with fairies holding keys. I killed a few and grabbed a key that fell on the ground, then ran quickly through an empty room.

I silently crept around the sides and escaped this chess room to find an empty room. However, as I left, I heard a loud roar. When I failed a potion challenge in another room, I found myself transported to the Hospital Wing. I rushed to the third floor corridor again to try finding this room that Riddle asked for. That's when I found out quickly that there was a troll I had to go past... and after I couple of blows between us, I managed to evade the stupid creature.

The second time I chose a potion, it turned out to be a strong wine. Joke's on whoever set up this room because my parents raised me in a small city area where many people practiced Roman Catholicism. I am used to wine, of course! I quickly chose the right potion that got me through the purple flames and into a huge room.

I found Riddle's spirit form quickly dissipating, tossing gold coins at me before leaving. He left me in front of this grand broken mirror. On the ground was a beanie cap and on the mirror were purple sparks of glitter. I gently touched it a few times before picking up shards of the Philosopher's stone.

I quickly placed it in my backpack before finding a passage out of the weird room with the mirror and beanie.

This adventure happened all day today... so overall, I've been having a good few days since my last post.

Sometime yesterday, I met with If and Honey. We wandered around Hogworth and eventually met up with each other again at Hogsend, where we found a robe merchant who offered us a cheap price for our House robes... I now know why they were cheap.

...funny, really, but oh man... we are swarming children in these getups.

This was a surprise selfie If took of us at Honeybadgers common rooms, using my special camera. Look at me barely looking up while my leg was stuck between the cushions.

P.S.: Does anyone like my uniform that's not from Hogsend? I have Honey to thank for making me my uniform! She also did hers, If's, and Devil's.
(Though... if you ever see him, don't mention the eyebrows. Honey pasted some on him with makeup as he fell asleep, so he's stuck with those for a while...)

This is Professor Tara (woman on right). She is an amazing professor and I took a picture of this behind Honey's head last night during Alchemy class. I also had her today for Potions and in previous classes, including Potion Theory. She gave me full credits, including an E+ for a creative assignment in Potion Theory and an O- for a quiz assignment in Alchemy.

For some reason, I feel a lot more confident in science-related courses and writing-based assignments than I do in physical education. Then again, flying class was cool.

I just don't like P.E. It doesn't like me. We're better off apart.

This was taken yesterday with Dragon by my side. I helped guide him through his enrollment yesterday, as he was finally convinced to go to Hogsworth. We went to a special alley for unique shops that accept unique currency. We decided to only try out previews of different items offered there and had a blast! I'm hoping to save up enough money that the shopkeepers want to purchase neat stuff, such as this pirate hat.

If it seems like I'm complaining about a teacher, please keep in mind this is roleplay only. People roleplaying as professors in the game are creative and doing their best to give a fun experience to the schooling experience of this game. Do not spread negativity towards anyone, as the following information is simply a fictional character's perspective.

Although we have dorms, each student is given their own magical plot of land to create some type of housing or structure of their own, etc. I have plans of creating a fraternity house for my friends, as I'm familiar with it thanks to my older brother. Once I'm finished with the build, hopefully my friends will reside with me in it and we can have fun!

Going back to P.E. ...I hate it.

I'm all for easy parkour, but this was extreme parkour for each class that I subjected myself to for AC. It was stressful to have to try and leap far to get to another section. Why can't there be parkour where we can climb and jump short distances, like trees?

What's worst is that trivia questions pop up at random brief times not relating to P.E. The one time I answer correctly first is when I don't get a pass. Apparently, during the second time I took P.E., a student answered second (it was on Doctor Who). The P.E. professor decided beforehand that second answers will be given passes to skip certain parkour spaces.

I found that unfair, as it gives people chances to cheat. Due to "confusion" of teleporting me for the right answer, the professor decided I should skip two sections instead of one. I felt even more discouraged as time rolled on. The professor transported those of us who were still at the main parkour stages towards the end section of it, but I still suck. I'm making an official promise to myself to never visit a P.E. class ever again, especially when it was a surprise class.

I took the surprise flying class today, though. I was slow, but it was way more fun and less stressful.

More pictures coming up to describe how it's been going for the past few days! (I can't believe blogs have character limits! :oops:Then again... Hogsworth is a school.:D)

This was taken when both Honey and I visited If at the Griffin boy dorms... or rather, we guided If to his common rooms.:LOL:That boy gets lost, I swear! (Especially when he's sleepy.)

Where I come from, we live half in the city and half in a nice cottage with trees. My mother may be a modern witch, but my father's heritage comes from forest nymphs. Growing up, my older brother and I hung out together - both literally and physically - on trees. My father used to call us his little monkeys of terror in a fond tone. My mother didn't like that much.

As soon as my friends saw the Honeybadgers dorm rooms, Honey embraced the environment, If immediately stepped out, Devil snorted through the video call, and Dragon facepalmed in the same video call. My friends know my obsession with trees and harped on me about it while I embraced the love, cackling like a madman.

This is me, coming back from fixing my housing (which I will get to in a second), when I heard from Honey that she wants to get in Wizards P.E. with me.
[ic]

It's been a long while since I've updated my blog. A lot has happened since my last post. There's a lot to talk about.

I guess to start things off, we could begin with any pictures I've taken with my camera that I use sparingly. Apparently, technology shouldn't work around magic, but my family always find ways around things. (After all, my mother is a witch.) I've been helping my friends at school with communication problems, especially on the tech side.

Anyways - let's start with some pictures!

I took this on my way to a double-decker bus that took me quickly to somewhere in London, which led me to Diagonal Lane? Still trying to memorize places. I always wondered why strange stuff always happened whenever the moon looked like this growing up... I was lucky that my mother told me about Hogworth when I was young lad.

...oh, I must have forgotten to mention - I'm bigender. For folks who don't know the term, I'll break it down - bigender falls under the genderqueer term, except people who are known as bigender don't use they/them pronouns. I'm either a he or she.

Today is a man day.

This is when I was still walking around the school campus. So many turns... my friends and I have been getting lost, and I'm usually the kind of person who'd never get lost.

Speaking of friends, within the past few days, I slowly drew in my friends, Devil and Dragon, who both went into Griffin with If. Honey and I are in Honeybadgers, so we're slightly outnumbered. Our friends are slowly enrolling into the school and I am excited for more adventures!
[ic]

So.... I sped through first year assignments and tasks today. They felt more like quests and it honestly wasn't much.
My friends, If and Honey, later came to enroll into Hogsworth as well. Honey shares the same House as me (yay!) while If went to Griffin.

Before I clock out and head to bed like my friends, I wanted to post something here in my Hogsworth blog.

I had a blast meeting everyone at school and interacting with this guy named Jeremiah. There's also this Tommy Riddle dude by the Great Hall entrance who showed me a daily quest he puts up for people, and being the idiot that I am, I accepted despite being unsure of where to find the "location". I perused around and found a chest hidden in one of the bathrooms, but I accidentally checked my backpack before looking back at the chest, only to find it locked for the next few hours or so.

I'm slowly building grounds for my own housing unit, though it's hard to find gold. :cautious: That's the only reason why I sped through various tasks for first years - needed the cash to find a place to live.

Don't get me wrong - I love the common rooms with the Honeybadgers! However, I wanted a location that screamed "me", ya know? I also wanted to see if I can convince some of my friends to room with me, almost like a frat house. I've always wanted to be a part of those, except have it with the friends I already love and cherish.

I'm going to try and not speed run tasks and assignments from here on out. I want to enjoy my time here.:honeybadger: Looking at the curriculum, I can see there's only 8 major tasks and assignments to do for second year students. I wish to continue enjoying my time here at Hogsworth while finding gold to help build my housing unit.

Okay, after midnight, so I'll head to bed. Goodnight!
Hello! My name is Nikka and I am glad to be at Hogsworth. :) I will treat this forum as a modern blog area for my character's activities.

The following shows what each blog post and replies will have from here on out on the top left corner:
[ooc] = Out of Character
[ic] = In Character

This'll be fun to try and roleplay!
