New Commands:
- Added
/party

/party invites
to display pending invites that your party has sent out - Added
/party requests
to display party invites you have received - Added
/party revoke <IGN>

/party friendlyfire

Quality of Life Additions:
By High Demand
- After many people asking, we have now added support for the party leader to join a game and have the entire party join the queue
- This is done by right clicking on a game in the games menu
- Please note that if you’re joining a dungeon or gauntlet and the player is lacking access to this minigame, they will be removed from the queue
- In response to another popularly requested feature, when the party leader goes offline, instead of disbanding the party, it is now transferred to the second oldest member in the party
- Similar to guilds and friends, we have also added the option to enable a notification sound when you receive a party message (enabled via
/party
) - Additionally when you are in a party with more than one person on your world, a component will appear on your scoreboard that displays the health and level of the party members on your current world
- Phoenix chat alias has been changed to
/ph
from/p
. This should allow fwer accidental chat fails after much demand from players.
Party Invites
- Players can now create a party by doing
/party invite <IGN>
- You also have the ability to specify multiple IGNs by doing
/party invite <IGN 1> <IGN 2> …
- You also have the ability to specify multiple IGNs by doing
- Invites are also now clickable, allowing you to join a party without having to type the party accept command
- Additionally, party invites now expire after 5 minutes
Party Chat and Party Member Management
- We have removed the party member limit
- The
/party members
list now also displays where each party member is (similar to friends and guilds)- This list is also sorted to show the party leader at the top now
- The party chat colour has been changed from green to yellow
/pa
has also been added as an alias to/party
- We have also renamed
/party abandon
to/party disband
- Finally, a bug with removing players from a party using their IGNs or nickname not working has been fixed
That is it for this update, we hope that we have addressed all your suggestions for the parties system. However, like with all our updates, we would love to hear any and all feedback regarding the changes we have made.
Thank you everyone, and we hope you enjoy this long awaited update!
