Burning Day
When one is lost,
And soon after regained.
The time has come and gone,
For my dear ol’ Burning Day.
Starting at my origination,
Dancing about, and ready to play...
Is a nest of Cinders, still hot,
And ready to flame.
Then comes Pendragons,
And brotherly feuds.
Spent blood, sweat, and tears,
Protecting the few.
Though, was this all right?
Defending their honor...
Valiantly fighting...
Night after night after night?
The Guilt has piled,
Against my own kind.
For now, I have a choice,
Ahead or behind?
Work has been done,
I’ve completed all I could do.
And now it is finally time,
For me to start anew.
My time is waning,
I must act fast.
For the tide is rising,
And so is the pack.
When one is lost,
And soon after regained.
The time has come and gone,
For my dear ol’ Burning Day.
Starting at my origination,
Dancing about, and ready to play...
Is a nest of Cinders, still hot,
And ready to flame.
