I have not played QB in quite a while and this strat emerged literally right after I left. I also main def, and I personally would never use this strat. It is kind of clever, but it does seem kind of unfair at the same time. Deniz's proposition would make this not only a valid strat, but also...

Also, Potterworld might be releasing merch (a forum went out a while ago). It needs to be FAR from Harry Potter in order to be sold. The more original, the better.

I think changing their texture to a mob that would suit their size, like an enderman, would help immensely. I don't know how it would be possible to maybe set boundaries for where they spawn, but that would be great. They follow you so far and latch on to their target despite the distance...

You probably would have to ask the owners of the map for permission. And you can always try out other Harry Potter-inspired servers if you wish! This server has its own terms and names which really cannot be changed at this point.

This would be very effective in my opinion! I sometimes want to practice without being completely destroyed. This allows new players to improve before they go against big-league players.

Seers are typically the only ones who are part of official roleplay, while the rest is unofficial. So if you do pay for Aurorlock, I don't think there is a way to be official sadly :/
