Heya! Thank you very much to everyone who contributed to this thread. We really appreciate that you are all willing to chip in with your own opinions on this suggestion, as that's really important to us.

We completely understand how a list of curse words could be of benefit to the community and it could mean that people could avoid getting in trouble because of swearing when they perhaps did not know that the word was a swear. However, unfortunately, there are people who would use it for the wrong means, and it would make it a lot easier for them to be able to bypass the filter because they know what words are not allowed. This opens up the possibility of a lot of people who play on the server being exposed to inappropriate, offensive and harmful things, which we do not want happening.

Additionally, there are a lot of inappropriate and hurtful things on the filter. Displaying a list of these would be going against our own rules and defeating the purpose of the filter, as the point of the filter is to ensure that players are not seeing these kinds of things. Ultimately, we see this causing more harm than good on the server, so we we will be declining this suggestion. We hope you understand and accept our decision, and if you do not, that's okay too. If you have further questions about this, you are welcome to contact a Lead Prefect+.

I don't think this is a problem. If you use a light curse word by mistake, that won't get you banned, you will just get muted and you would know not to use that word again. The problem appears only if you constantly use curse words.
